Secretary Kerry: U.S. deeply concerned by Nigeria’s enactment of the Same Sex Marriage Prohibition Act

Deep Concern with Nigeria’s Enactment of the Same Sex Marriage Prohibition Act

Press Statement

John Kerry Secretary of State Washington, DC

January 13, 2014

The United States is deeply concerned by Nigeria’s enactment of the Same Sex Marriage Prohibition Act.

Beyond even prohibiting same sex marriage, this law dangerously restricts freedom of assembly, association, and expression for all Nigerians.

Moreover, it is inconsistent with Nigeria’s international legal obligations and undermines the democratic reforms and human rights protections enshrined in its 1999 Constitution.

People everywhere deserve to live in freedom and equality. No one should face violence or discrimination for who they are or who they love.

We join with those in Nigeria who appeal for the protection of their fellow citizens’ fundamental freedoms and universal human rights.

How did the world manage for all those thousands of years without same sex marriage? OK. So Muslims are bombing Nigerian churches. Big deal. Dog bites man. Same sex marriage! That should be a top priority!

So he’s lecturing Nigeria about their law which is the same as the law in most of the United States.
Will the U. S. ever be taken seriously again?

“Moreover, it is inconsistent with Nigeria’s international legal obligations..........”

Huh?? What obligations does a sovereign nation have to the international community?

I just knew that kerry played for the other team. His wife even looks more manly than he does.

A concerned John Kerry is very, very, deeply concerned.
One can see it in his face.

Their legal obligations apparently approve killing Christians, but they can’t object to gay marriage. Truly a weird policy statement.

In fact, as a minister, I can testify to the number of African bishops who have implored our churches NOT to approve of gay marriage BECAUSE even saying it gives CAUSE overseas for Muslims to kill Christians.

Kerry just subtly approved the burning of more Christian Churches.

i’m waiting for all of those confused leftists to start making noises condemning the “Western Cultural Imperialism” implicit in Kerry’s words.

Still waiting...

And waiting...

That isn’t saying much. Richard Simmons looks more manly than John Kerrey.

This public release by Kerry gives Muslims a go-ahead to burn more churches in Nigeria.

One of the reasons for the gay marriage ban is the significant presence of Muslims in Nigeria. No Islamic country would ever approve gay marriage. It is against Islam.

His signature achievements: the expansion of Iran’s nuclear ambitions and sodomy.

Almost forgot the Christmas eve Cambodian excursions.
