**SNIP**

Lippert, who had been convicted in a high-profile kidnapping in 1975, worked at the clinic part-time from 1988 to 1993, the University of Utah confirms.

In his kidnapping case, reported by People magazine in 1975, Lippert abducted a 21-year-old female student at Purdue University whom he attempted to "brainwash" into falling in love with him through electric-shock therapy.

The surprised mother told KUTV that she didn't know his criminal history until now. But she says she does remember him as being at the clinic when she visited, specifically in the front desk area.

From the article:

Not only did she wonder how this could have happened, but was it intentionally done?

I am having difficulty imagining how this could be an accident.

I’m guessing all of the baby pictures over his desk at work had special meaning for him.

ON a separate but related issues, I’ve always wondered how many people, unbeknownst to them, have married a half brother or half sister or cousin, or just had sexual relations with them. If artificial insemination can have one person be the father of so many children, and those children aren’t informed of who their sisters and brothers are, then, it’s quite possible that there are many cases of brother/sister relationships, not to mention cousins.

At least the girl got some talent out of the deal. She’s a musician and is studying astrophysics. Let’s hope she doesn’t turn into a nutcase like Lippert.

Hey, incest worked for Adam and Eve's kids. Besides, mothers birthing children with different fathers is the de facto norm in America these days.

She did OK there, too. Mom, girl, cousin on Lippert's side. And the guy's mother is still alive at age 99.

Probably less then in the past. In the bad old days when the guy at the top got to have sex with any female he wished there were a lot of kids in the village who had or may have had the same father. There was a small gene pool to begin with and one family doing the majority of the reproducing tended to shrink it. What was really gross is when they had the same father and grandfather.

The mom was getting a stranger’s sperm anyway. What difference does it make what stranger it came from?

There was an interesting article on Iceland not long ago. It is a small isolated country, population of around 350K and deeply religious until fairly recently, when they embraced the new morality like everywhere else.

Everybody is related as one might imagine with a country so small and so isolated for so long. Anyway, they now have a mobile app there so teens can see just how closely they are related before they bang each other.
