...they are opening up a surprise box of sh*t in the face

It's funny to watch politicians try to besmirch, intimidate, belittle or embarrass the likes of Levine or Limbaugh. The nitwits are completely outmatched. I think Levin and Limbaugh enjoy it as it advances the message.

RE :”Now the Constitution is “weak” and “ argumentative”? Who knew? FORBES? Hmmmm.”

He doesn't say that.

The authors interpretation is that Levin is in effect proposing re-write the constitution, or write his own NEW constitution with a large number (11 ??) amendments to it, not one of which will actually be passed.

But he is selling lots of books.

The last Levin book I bought and read was 'Men in Black' 2004, in that one he said that filibustering judges is unconstitutional. Of course as soon as Obama was elected he called for filibustering his judges.(who-da-guessed ?)

Levin is hovering center of the target. This was a stupid move on the part of the GOP because they stupidly regarded Levin as a Limbaugh or Hannity. This is going to backfire on the GOPe......Big time.

Jim Moran, huh?

If this story has legs, we Kansans know how to let Jerry feel the heat and believe me, we do have alternatives.

I'm not suggesting that this isn't true but I do need mores than the snippet I read in this story.

Hopefully, I will be able to find out something more to back up what I've read here.

McConnell, I'd believe anything as he's really scum, Moran isn't lots better and we already do have someone who barely lost out to him in the Primary and this is Moran's first term.

He's already betrayed us with his vote in favor of Ryan's budget and some other votes.

The GOPe forgets that Mark Levin is an attorney and you do not want to deal with an attorney.

Levin’s proposals reflect the extent of the Court’s rewriting of the Constitution. I don’t know if he focuses on the change sit has made in the First Amendment, where Black’s whole argument on the relation of church and state in 1947 rests on the premise that the language of the Blaine Amendment is implicit in the Establishment Clause.

The day after I vote for Matt Bevin over Mitch McConnell in the Kentucky primary, I will officially leave the republican party (I unofficially left it several years ago).

Levin isn't suggesting that all his ideas be the amendments, they are just that-- his ideas-- things that he thinks would be helpful.

It is up to each us to push our ideas to our representatives, the ones that would be in attendance at a convention. He merely gives his ideas as example.

Levin is only pushing that we have an Article V not the content of it. He is pushing a possible solution instead of just beach, whine and complain.

If he makes money for his time spent searching for and studying the solutions and then working to promote such-- why shouldn't he make that money--he earned it?

A teacher makes a salary for teaching and Levin has a legal foundation to run as well.

I hope he makes plenty from his book.

That's a judgment for individual book consumers to make for themselves, not for me to make.

I am not King like Obama is.

More recently just a month ago or so when Harry Reid took that same advise that Levin gave Republicans in 2004 to break the rule to change the filibuster rule on judges, Mark freaked out on his show (not unusual of course LOL)

Good, then the sales and content of Levin's book shouldn't concern you at all. You stopped buying them, right?

Of all the people the GOP could pick a fight with, Levin would rank among the last. You don’t fight a hog in a mud puddle; sooner or later, you will realize that you can’t win and the hog is enjoying himself.

RE :”Good, then the sales and content of Levin's book shouldn't concern you at all. ”

Was I concerned ?

Typically when I am posting concern it is indicated by a specific warning of negative consequences.

But I posted that none of his suggested amendments in the book will get implemented, so that means there will be NO consequences.

RE :”You stopped buying them, right?”

I am pretty sure I addressed that question directly in my last comment to you . Rhetorical question?

Rhetorical question?

No, I believe it is what is considered clarification used during communication.

The Obama Administration Culture is based on lies, persecution of political opponents, and violating the US Constitution.

Under the leadership of Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and Speaker of the House John Boehner, the GOP Establishment Congressional Culture is based on becoming more like the Obama Administration Culture.

By design, the GOP Establishment has become a doormat speed bump for Obamacrat politicians on the very wide, and well lighted Highway to European Socialism.

Without the capable cave-in expertise of McConnell and Boehner, the successful fundamental transformation of America into a weak, financially devastated, morally corrupt, former World Power would not have been possible.

To those US Senators and House members who still support McConnell and Boehner, remember Einstein’s definition of insanity:

“INSANITY IS DOING THE SAME THING OVER AND OVER AGAIN AND EXPECTING DIFFERENT RESULTS.”

I saw a post the other day where Mark Levin warned us that the GOP would lose the 2014 election if ‘GOPe attacked conservatives’

(note that those are his three favorite words to use, and all in a single phrase here : ‘GOPe’, ‘attacked’, ‘conservatives’)

But the Dems will take a beating in November.
So could he be motivating GOPe to do their worse just to prove him wrong?

At any rate, at least Levin is willing to have the discussion of ideas before just shoving things down America’s throat, like they did with CommieCare without even pretending to read it. He’s not a congressman with power, they are, and look what they’ve done.
