The racial component is nowhere near as important as the cultural component. People who choose to be part of a culture that believes that education is for losers and that anti-social behavior is where it’s at, are going to do poorly in life, not just school, regardless of race.

In this case “regardless of behavior”, they are not going to be punished at “higher rates”.

It’s always been that way, just not officially. My high school was about 50/50 black/white. The blacks would do things like walking up to white students in the cafeteria and pushing the white students’ lunch trays to the floor, then ordering the white students to clean up the mess. The whites always meekly obeyed. But one day one brave white girl dug her heels in and refused to clean up the mess. The black students got mad, started yelling and gathering around. A teacher ran up to the white girl, looking terrified. “Clean it up!” she begged. “Clean it up or they’ll riot!”

My point is, blacks in public schools have never been punished as their misbehavior deserved. Only whites get cracked down on.

That is a scenario right out of Turner Diaries (fictional work written in the 70’s).
A white girl kept telling her parents she was getting groped at school by the male black students and that the teachers wouldn’t do anything about it.
Her parents wouldn’t either, because they didn’t want to be called “racist”.

I however, at the first hint of this from my daughter, would pull her out immediately... but we homeschool already.
