The appropriate question to ask is if car break-ins will increase.

I once talked to a man whose car kept getting broken into when he hiked in forest lands. The local sheriff told him to put an empty holster on his front dash. He did, and never had another problem.

Exactly; it’s time these college campuses stop trying to create little colonies where they are exempt from the wider law.
