I’ve noticed that the leftie spin meisters must have hired a different PR group plus make-up artists, stylists (hair and clothes), and recruited some younger talking heads. They look a bit better (remember the posters of the Dim women v.s. the attractiveness of the Pubbie women?). The women don’t sound as much like screeching harpies (and/or someone’s ex-wife (LOL!)) and the men don’t scream as much as the days of Bubba. Most seem a bit more “normal” and “reasonable”(until those of us in-the-know hear what they’re actually saying). That said, they can talk twice as fast as their Pubbie counterparts and always try to get in the last word.
One example that comes to mind is Julie (can’t think of her last name right now) that is on FNC programs from time to time. I used to cringe every time she came on and I’d change the channel - I found her totally obnoxious. I’ve noticed over the past few months or more that she’s styled her hair better, has nice make-up and clothes and has toned down her shrillness. That’s not to say that she still doesn’t parrot the DNC talking points, she just does it in a more attractive/stylized and toned-down way.
They’re still promoting sh_t and lying through their glossy whites.
I just did a review of the county lawyer’s book, the one who is very handsome. Also interviewed him....heh.
Heard all about Governor Castle and detached retinas.

Governor Castle, you read right. Seems this guy was head of the Republican party when Castle was Governor and yeah, he wanted to impress me.
I was impressed but only because he is a very nice guy and did I mention, very handsome?
I really don’t know what my brother is doing but as I understand it, he’s going to school. He sent me, get this, a very heavy chain lamp that he made.....beautiful. He is a carpenter and spent many years re-habbing houses in Baltimore.
I think his “degree” is a high school diploma....nope he never had one before. He also served in Vietnam.

Friday, Rush was talking about the doctor who spent 2 hours on the phone with an insurnace company trying to get approval to do a surgery.
I had to chuckle — the doctor called the wrong number; he should have called the IRS liaison to Obamacare.

I may try it but lobster is very expensive here, even at Costco. I bet I could substute crab. We have a variety of clams and fish galore - might be fun to experiment a bit.

MSNBC host Melissa Harris-Perry made a tearful apology to Mitt Romney’s family on her show Saturday, after she and a panel poked fun at a photo of the former Republican presidential candidate with his wife and 21 grandchildren by zeroing in on his adopted African-American grandson.
“Whatever the intent was, the reality is that the segment proceeded in a way that was offensive, and showing the photo in that context, of that segment, was poor judgment. So without reservation or qualification, I apologize to the Romney family,” said the anchor at the open of her show, “Melissa Harris-Perry.”
Harris-Perry became emotional as she went on to apologize to all “other families formed through transracial adoption,” saying, “I am deeply sorry that we suggested that interracial families are in any way funny or deserving of ridicule.”
She highlighted her own interracial background, as the daughter of an African-American man and a white Mormon woman. But, she said, families are always “off limits,” and the Romneys’ grandchildren should never have been a topic of discussion.

Here is the cover and a little review of the original manuscript. I changed the story making it a lot better. It is a really good read now.
I am hoping to get some big reviews and endorsements when the final version comes out which should be in 2-3 weeks.
While he (in between golfing and snorkling and the 4 min trip to his grandfather’s grave) blasts Pubbies for being on vacay and not passing an Unemployment extension (which, IMHO they should not do, even though the Dims will beat them over he head with it), he’s giving Moochelle Ma Belle a special birthday gift - she get’s to stay in Hawaii w/o the kids and him (not sure about the doggies). Sounds like a present for both - - he gets to spend more alone time with Reggie. Is he paying for her stay and the extra plane ride home? - -somewhat rhetorical question but he should be paying for it.
Also, I didn’t realize she had “friends” in Hawaii — did they fly them in from Chi-town and DC? Wonder if her Marxist college friend that’s a VP at CGI is part of the group.

HONOLULU - President Barack Obama is going to give his wife the birthday present that many parents can only dream of - time off, alone, without the children.
The White House said on Saturday first lady Michelle Obama would stay in Hawaii, where the family has been on vacation for the last two weeks, rather than return home with her husband and their two girls.
“As part of her birthday gift from the president, the first lady will remain in Hawaii to spend time with friends ahead of her upcoming 50th birthday,” a White House official said.
The president was leaving Honolulu late on Saturday after a vacation that was filled with several games of golf and dinners out. He and his children are scheduled to arrive in Washington on Sunday morning.
The Associated Press compiled a list of how President Obama spent his last day of vacation in Hawaii on Saturday:

Must be nice to spend and extra week for $10,000/night. After all 3 weeks hardly seems enough vacation for her while the rest of the country is in a recession.
