Over the last 12 months some 3,000 Cubans, mostly doctors, have arrived in the United States after deserting one of the Venezuelan government´s social programs they staff. This accounts for a 60% increase as compared with 2012. In 2012 there were about 5,000 refugee Cuban doctors and nurses in the United States coming from all over the world. Through December 1, 2013 this figure had surged to 8,000, 98% of them came from Venezuela. I think you underestimate the ability of these doctors. With modern medical equipment and other learning resources, I think most them will eventually qualify under US standards. If they show the same drive of earlier Cuban immigrants, they will also make good US citizens.

... cough.. Where did that information come from? There schools haven't got the latest technology or the latest medical equipment, and why should they, the vast majority of hospitals are so ill equip for any modern procedures.. My wife interviewed many as possible staff in her clinic, and that's what they admitted..
That is not saying that they have no skills, or aren't trainable, but the facts are as they are..

One of my wife’s interviewees, told her he was ashamed of the facilities he had to sever his patients.. Most of the patient became ill from staph and numerous other serious maladies, acquired the hospitals themselves..

The wife gave the guy a job as a lab assistant, so he could return to school and get the additional training he lacked, which he did..
