At least 10 people have been killed and 10 others injured in an explosion on a trolleybus in the Russian city of Volgograd, Russian media report.
The blast comes a day after 17 people died in a suicide bomb attack at the central station in the city.
Security has been tightened at railway stations and airports across Russia.
Moscow is concerned militant groups could be ramping up violence in the run-up to the 2014 winter Olympic Games in the city of Sochi.
The Olympic venue is close to Russia's volatile north Caucasus region.
Volgograd lies about 900km (560 miles) south of Moscow, 650km north of the North Caucasus and 700km north-east of Sochi.

Sochi was Muslim Circassian/Adyge from the 15th century until the 19th century, when the Russians conquered the area in a campaign of mass murder and ethnic cleansing. This is the third bomb, with the train station the first yesterday. Yes, there was a bus prior to these 3 bombs.
It’s only a matter of time until this happens enough in the U.S.A. that it effects our every day life. I have no doubt the goons in congress will expand the TSA in a major way to cover public transportation. That is their only solution - more government.
Sad. No doubt the Russian response is coming.
