That would be military attorneys and the idiotic (and cowardly) politically-correct commanders who listen to them.
It’s interesting that our little friend, Little Lindsey Graham is a military (reserve) attorney. Military attorneys are also those folks who come up with the Obama administration’s “rules of engagement” that have resulted in the unnecessary deaths of of many of our troops.
so let me get this straight, doughnut munchers in this country can gun down UNARMED American Citizens and their pets simply so they can go home safe that night, and yet a known TERRORIST captured in a WAR ZONE gets a split lip(most likely self inflicted), and the whole Team gets charged with ABUSE??? more words will only get me in trouble...
This is the TV version of NCIS in action and it threatens to destroy our military. Commanders used to stand strong against investigator and prosecutor zealots, but alas, no more. This travesty should have never gotten beyond the Convening Authority’s desk, but went all the way to Court Martial.
Unfortunately, this story is not unique and the trend continues. The witch hunts are in full force and as the war winds down, the focus will turn on leaders who say mean things to females.

My opinion.
What every one serving should realize is that they are considered cannon fodder by the higher ups and they will gladly offer them up to either protect their career or to advance some political agenda. Watch the movie Breaker Morant for a good example.
Easy solution: stop taking prisoners.
