Why does Israel ALWAYS have to give 100 to 1, in every negotiation?
Because one Israeli life is worth hundreds or thousands of times more (or more) of each terrorist dirtbag life
On the final day of the negotiations, the agreement almost fell through. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had asked President Bill Clinton to release Jonathan Pollard, an American naval intelligence officer who has been serving a life sentence since 1985 for giving classified information to Israel. A bitter disagreement arose, with Netanyahu claiming that Clinton had promised to release Pollard, and Clinton saying he had only promised to “review” the case. It was also reported that then director of the CIA George Tenet had threatened to resign if Pollard was released.
Why should Israel believe Kerry? Originally Israel was guaranteed that info like Pollard gave them was intel the USA was obligated to give Israel. Sadam Hussein was developing nukes to bomb Israel and we didn’t share this with Israel like we agreed to do.
A lot of history of not honoring our word to our ally Israel
and now we find them not trusting us, I wonder why?
Because historically they've always shown a williness to do so.
You do know that Israel itself negotiated for just ONE ISRAELI SOLDIER - and released ONE THOUSAND ISLAMIC TERRORISTS for just this one soldier! This was just a couple of years ago.
We're giving the Izzies a major traitor, in exchange for bupkis.
Sound good to you? Not me. Not from an American POV, anyway.
The whole deal stinks on all ends. The only winners are the Pali scum.
