President Barack Obama has signed into law a comprehensive defense bill that cracks down on sexual assault in the military. [ ]
The bill provides $552.1 billion for the regular military budget, plus $80.7 billion for the Afghanistan war and other overseas operations.

“The White House says Obama signed the bills Thursday while vacationing in Hawaii.”
Really, he signed it in Hawaii? Or did a staffer sign it at the White House with autopen? Or another option, is Jarrett in hawaii?
Military Justice system has become a kangaroo court for the left.
Well, his bootlicker minions in the AP reported it so it must be another one of those. Did the bill exempt the many faggots who rape defenseless servicemen?
Does it actually outlaw the screwing that Øbama actually has been engaged in, screwing the US Military?
Better wait for more complete reports on this bill.
As I recall, the Defense bill the house passed had over $600 Billion in it.
“Remark by Obama Complicates Military Sexual Assault Trials”
Basically because he opened his mouth anyone in the military can get off because “defense lawyers have said that Mr. Obamas words as commander in chief amounted to unlawful command influence, “ so he can make all the laws he wants put his words will get every military man/woman off if I remember correctly
So a LAW is going to stop sexual harassment in the miitary? Only a fool believes that.
We’ve got lots of those in elected seats.
This change will be challenged in court, as it is blatant unlawful political influence over the military justice system. If the first politically mandated conviction is upheld, then the next step will be the appointment of “political commissars” to ensure that commanders are following political directives.
Just as long as they don’t say “Merry Christmas”.
I can hear it now, “Yes sir, Zampolit Colonel”.
In said budget contains all those cuts on retired military and disabled veterans to save some money for free stuff for illegals and giving to the Islamic Brotherhood of Muzzie Murdering Thugs of which he is a proud member. Giving money to the enemy that uses the money and weapons he provides to kill our troops. What a guy.
JAG is filled with shills, even during the bush Adnim.
When America has troops deployed in combat operations, we need either an automatic mandatory corporate and personal surtax, or commensurate budget cuts in services that will actually cover the costs of that war. The current generation must cover current costs, and also the after costs to replace equipment and take care of those who fought it. Politicians should never be permitted to make going to war an easy event where most citizens are not required to sacrifice.
It still upsets me that W and Congress initially played games with the wars to keep them off budget, and make the public believe it would involve no sacrifice.
“that cracks down on sexual assault in the military”
Is there a extra money to try and stop the epidemic homosexual rape that has went up 400% since Obamagabe lifted DADT. Or is that little secret the lamestream media refuses to talk about. You certainly never hear any member of Congress address it, democrat or republican. The new Army recruiting slogan should be “Be all you can be, join the Army where you can stay in shape running from sodomites that are trying to rape you”.
.... Yup .... I do find that curious.
Try this. Don’t put male officers and noncoms in command over female servicewomen, and vice versa.
“has signed into law a comprehensive defense bill that cracks down on sexual assault in the military”
Well thank goodness our nations defense is being addressed.
In short, a female falsely accusing a male military member of raping her can do so with even more impunity.
Keep women off warships.
Well, that would be segregation, which is a form of discrimination.
discrimination is not always a bad thing
like allowing single men not to buy maternity coverage in healthcare and not forcing 70 year old women to buy contraceptive coverage
sure it is discrimination but it makes sense
What’s wrong with wise discrimination?
Keep women out of combat arms.
Bring back the WAC’s and WAVE’s
So are male and female bathrooms. Do those go next?
Gives a new meaning to the phrase “drill sergeant riding your ass”.
HJe signed a defence bill, and its based on sexual asault?
Look way behind that and you will see the seeds of destruction.
I do not believe anything that the press says about Obama. Its all just a huge charade of damnation and lies.
what about the record amount of rapes on men by homosexual men in the military since don’t ask was overturned, infact rapes on men have reached record levels now and that is what is just recorded or reported .
Oh yea , can’t mention men being raped in the military can we as it’s not PC, lets focus on just women.
AGREE, women should not be on ships, especially Subs and certainly not on the front lines and before anyone gets to get all PC on me then I have served and had to write reports on when they were experimenting with women serving on the front lines and have seen how women can disrupt most men, can’t carry the weight etc
I am betting Pres ValJar signed it in the WH.
problem is that those lies are watched and heard and believed by millions of dopes in the country and trust me I had a debate with one yesterday.
53% of sexual assault victims are male......http://www.nytimes.com/2013/06/24/us/in-debate-over-military-sexual-assault-men-are-overlooked-victims.html?pagewanted=all&_r=0
That would be withholding career opportunities from them, a form of discrimination. Equality uber alles. Career uber common sense.
Sounds like ships are becoming prisons.
And the majority of offenders are male. The homosexuals know that they can get away with anything thanks to the politically correct atmosphere in the military. Thank you presidents Clinton and Obama.
I don’t wish the “pResident” any bad luck, but I hope he chokes on the bones.
It would be keeping them in jobs that they’re capable of.
I was in a co ed unit in Germany, and when orders to deploy to Bosnia as part of IFOR came down, over half the females in my unit got themselves knocked up to avoid being deployed.
Look at the invasion of Iraq... Jessica Lynch was touted as some hero when in fact she was cowering under her vehicle as the rest of her unit was being shot up.
The marines just lowered the standards for females to be in the infantry.
The commissars have already been put in place, and this bill expands them. In the Army at least, young attorney’s (JAGs) have already been dedicated solely to dealing with sexual harassment. If they want to be successful, they will need to tack more scalps on the wall than the average. Not surprisingly, the number of “reported”cases has ballooned 50 percent year over year. Subordinates now have surer ability to end a career than superiors, simply by making an unsubstantiated complaint, and letting the professional sharks make the kill.
This law expands the “special” victims counsels for sexual assault “survivors”. In other words, more commissars.
One of the most important characteristics of the military justice system has been the constraints against “unlawful command influence”. JAG officers counsel commanders on how to avoid it, and defense JAG officers pounce on it when it occurs. The result has been a system where justice, not conviction rate has been paramount. The public’s perception is exactly the opposite, tut that perception is wrong.
In the civilian world, politics is the equivalent of unlawful command influence and the influence of politics is the primary driving force for many prosecutors. They give the public what they demand, convictions and they could give a damn about justice.
Once politics gains the upper hand within the military, our Armed Forces will be doomed. The signs are ominous.
“Keep women off warships.”
I didn’t realize sexual assaults were such a problem in Afghanistan. Is there any money for weapons, combat pay, supplies?
