The beauty of the U.S. is that continued liberalism will mealy melt the bonds of the states to each other. As blue states grow fat under big government they will sink while the more conservative ones will continue to float.

We are still, after all, 50 semi-autonomous nations, most of which are actually center-right.

33 The beauty of the U.S. is that continued liberalism will mealy melt the bonds of the states to each other. As blue states grow fat under big government they will sink while the more conservative ones will continue to float. We are still, after all, 50 semi-autonomous nations, most of which are actually center-right.

It is important to retain some optimism and hope in these extremely troubling times. I no longer think that the U.S. is a center-right country. The millenials, our future, have embraced BHO and turned their backs on Christianity. More and more, I find myself identifying with being a Christian than an American. Most of us Freepers knew in SEP 2008 during the financial crisis that the U.S. was headed down the path of decline and that BHO would do everything in his power to accelerate that - and he has. But the theme of Revelation is that God wins in the end.

12/29/2008 – The Wall Street Journal printed an article entitled, “The End of the U.S.?” about Russian professor and political scientist, Igor Panarin, who 1st predicted in 1998 that the U.S. would probably disintegrate into 6 parts by JUL 2010. "There's a 55-45% chance right now that disintegration will occur. … One could rejoice in that process ... .But if we're talking reasonably, it's not the best scenario -- for Russia." Though Russia would become more powerful on the global stage, he said, its economy would suffer because it currently depended heavily on the dollar and on trade with the U.S. He forecasted financial and demographic changes within the U.S. which would provoke a political crisis in which the wealthier states would withhold funds from the federal government. These wealthier states would effectively secede from the Union, leading to social unrest, civil war, national division, and intervention of foreign powers. The break up would also lead to mass immigration, economic decline, and moral degradation.
