As wishy-washy as the Mormons have become on this issue, I don’t really expect them to set off the necessary civil war. It will take some screwball black-robed tyrant telling Texas that it must sodomize marriage before something substantial is likely initiated.

Don't get me wrong...I love my adopted home state of Idaho, and the people here are some of the nicest I've ever met. But they're asleep. They think that because we're a conservative state that's somewhat politically isolated, that everything's hunky-dory.

As a result, they have lost the "fight gene". As a result of that, queers, supporters of illegal scumbag aliens, teachers' unions, and Leftists of many stripes are making inroads in Idaho. If our people don't wake up and get their heads out of their a**es, Idaho could wind up as another Montana or Colorado.

That won't happen in the Republic of Texas, if it's anything like what it was when I was stationed there from '91-'96. I've never met a group of people so proud of their state, and determined to keep the spirit of 1836 alive. It would not take a whole lot for me to load up the truck and head back that way.
