Those murderers are English born? Pity. Maybe its time for Great Britain to examine the benefits of contracting a new agreement with Austrailia or New Zealand on establishing a new penal colony. The U.S. should have no say over it. Our present leadership would likely side with those radical Islamists anyway.
British “justice” will give them 10 years of easy time & they will be out in 5-7 years.
They need the needle or the chair, but I guess the UK feels these murders lives are more important.
Not as good as the Chair, or, better yet, a hanging, but it is best we can do just about anywhere in the world.

The general public then and now didn’t want it to go, as usual, a small but vocal group of people managed to convince a govt then trying to be all 60’s liberal and progressive to abolish it in keeping with the spirit of the time etc etc.........
These two will get a whole life tariff or a life sentence with a minimum term (before parole) of 30+ yrs imo.
A young man who brutally raped and murdered a teenage girl was sentenced in the UK today to essentially a whole life tariff, as experts deemed he has an untreatable sexual/violent deviance, and actually has the high potential to be a serial killer. So today, we have put away a ‘single’ murderer for a true life term.
