A New Orleans police officer was shot in eastern New Orleans on Wednesday night (Dec. 18), according to NOPD officer Garry Flot. The officer was shot in his ankle, Flot said.
The NOPD sent out a signal 108 -- which means officer needs assistance, life in danger -- at 11:32 p.m.

I was initially concerned when reading this article that the suspect might try to kill the police officer.
Since the suspect was immediately shot in the groin, he had other concerns (probably) than harming a police officer.
If you like your testicles, you can keep your testicles. Oops, there they go!
Moral of the story -- don't struggle with a police officer.
Everyone involved needs to file down their front sight blade!!

Hope the police officer recovers but for Sahili, “too bad”.
Going forward he will be going by the name of Sally.
I guess this one was a win/win.
Neither of them are very bright.
