Phil Robertson, patriarch of the “Duck Dynasty” clan, is being slammed for controversial comments he made about homosexuality in an interview in the January issue of GQ.
“It seems like, to me, a vagina—as a man—would be more desirable than a man’s anus. That’s just me,” Robertson told the magazine. “I’m just thinking: There’s more there! She’s got more to offer. I mean, come on, dudes! You know what I’m saying? But hey, sin: It’s not logical, my man. It’s just not logical.”
When the reporter asked Robertson what he found sinful, he said “Start with homosexual behavior and just morph out from there. Bestiality, sleeping around with this woman and that woman and that woman and those men.”
The self-proclaimed Bible-thumper then went on to paraphrase Corinthians: “Don’t be deceived. Neither the adulterers, the idolaters, the male prostitutes, the homosexual offenders, the greedy, the drunkards, the slanderers, the swindlers—they won’t inherit the kingdom of God. Don’t deceive yourself. It’s not right.”(continued)

Putting ALL the other admonitions, (of which there are many,) in the Bible aside, the story of Sodom and Gomorrah is the MOST illustrative of G-d’s utter abhorrence of, and contempt for, homosexuality.
There is no way of getting around it as it is profoundly clear exactly why G-d destroyed this abomination.

I was wondering about that - I hope the rest of the family walks away from the show until Robertson is reinstated, or else they’ll be shown to be money hungry hypocrites.

I’m sorry, a couple people are up in arms over his comments. And glancing at the boycott A&E until Phil is reinstated in the show facebook page, there’s over 203,000 likes in a little over 5 hours.
Seems like the only one being slammed here is A&E. Contemplate this, A&E - When Duck Dynasty premiered this season, there were 11 million viewers, a record for a cable show. Nearly two percent of those viewers have so far said they intend to boycott your network.
Those are numbers that should darken the underwear of any network executive. Think what will happen when people are actually awake tomorrow.
Jesus never spoke about abortion, carjacking, the knockout game, wanting to have sex with angels, banging groupies, smoking pot, etc.
That does NOT mean he approved of such behavior.
He was a very learned Rabbi.
If he was living in Brooklyn today, no doubt he would condemn such behavior.
He would call ALL of these SINS.
And we know from Scripture, that he would FORGIVE such sins.
The kicker is he would say "Go and sin no more!"
That is the final analysis.

I don’t know how true this is but I ave read that Willie and his wife are the ones who really enjoy being on TV. I don’t think the others really care as much.Did you know Si is married for over 40 years and has a daughter. They wanted nothing to do with the show from what I have read.
When it comes to the women in my life and relationships with women in general, I think the Duckster could have well avoided such blatant crudity, but when it come to the sex act itself and the workings of the primordial part of the brain that drives most men to lust after what is essentially the region of a woman’s body that is her sewer system, then the good duck-man was just speaking the honest truth. This illogical, but very necessary attraction between man and woman is what keeps us going as a species.
Homosexual attraction is an abnormal (about 2-3 percent), but perfectly natural aberration to normal human sexuality. What people do and act out in their own private lives is only up God to judge, but I cannot abide being forced to condone such behavior. Homosexuality is degenerate, sexuality is private and promiscuity of any persuasion breeds disease and social chaos. Please keep it to yourselves and stay out of my face about it.

You need to consider that they are under contract.
We don’t know what kind of/how long ... the contract they signed is.
If A and E broke the contract by doing this to Phil...then MAYBE the family has an out.
