Patty Murray: 'Technical error' that cuts disabled veterans benefits will be fixed

Sen. Patty Murray said a "technical error" in the bipartisan budget deal accidentally would cut pension benefits for retired disabled military veterans, but vowed the problem will be fixed immediately.

The Washington state Democrat, who brokered the deal with Rep. Paul Ryan, R-Wis., took to the Senate floor Wednesday and promised the "unintended inclusion" would be remedied before the chamber votes on the bill and that benefits for disabled military pensioners wouldn't be cut.

"All of us know that our disabled veterans have made tremendous sacrifices for our nation and deserve the peace of mind that their benefits will not be adjusted under this compromise legislation," Murray said on the Senate floor Wednesday.

"The technical error certainly can, should and will be addressed."

“Technical error” my butt. Sen. Patty Murray is such a lying POS. She doesn’t give a damn about disabled vets.

“Removing veteran’s benefits from the budget was no “technical error”.

You are exactly right. Plus, Murray said they would make sure it got in there -but not necessarily for two years! It if was an error, it could have been corrected today before the vote if the spineless RINOS would have insisted. That proves they all knew exactly what they were doing.

To refer to this Senator as a pea brain would be insulting to peas.

It is a verifiable fact.

Always.

The Dems first instinct is to LIE.

They LIE to justify a law that you would not like.

They LIE if they actually think it would provide them a graceful exit (it does nothing of the sort) from getting caught in doing a bad thing (including trying to cover over another LIE).

Dems LIE.

They get together and plan the next LIE.

They think that we (you) are so stupid that we'd never catch on, even though their LIES are typically awkwardly contrived and clumsily delivered.

And this brings us to today's big, awkward and clumsy Dem LIE...

Sen. Patty Murray said a "technical error" in the bipartisan budget deal accidentally would cut pension benefits for retired disabled military veterans...

It's a verifiable fact.

Democrats. Their very first instinct is to...

...(You know)

.

I can’t imagine such “Technical Errors” when contained in written legislation. How could there be? It’s either written, or it isn’t.

This is like someone saying they accidentally loaded up an empty magazine and shot up their neighbors house.
