Whitechapel is on the outskirts of London, but it is an area where Muslims enforce Sharia law without any interference from British officials. On Saturday, they took it a step further and told shop owners in the area they will face 40 lashes if they continue to sell alcohol.
The protesters, including Anjem Choudary, the former leader of the Al-Muhajiroun group which was banned under terrorism laws, delivered warning letters to Muslim-owned businesses.
“The shops are run by Muslims and they know they are selling alcohol and they know the sale and consumption of alcohol is completely prohibited,” he said. “We cannot live among the non-Muslims and see this evil take place.”
Mizanur Rahman, organiser of the protest, said it had urged business owners to stop selling alcohol in breach of Muslim laws.
Mr Rahman said: “We want Sharia law to be enforced in Britain,” before adding that many of the Muslim owners had been “embarrassed and ashamed” when confronted about their alcohol sales, but had argued that it was an economic necessity.
In 2011, The Daily Mail did an exposé on these "Muslim patrols" and how the English government has not done anything to stop. Women are targeted if they do not wear a headscarf....

Wouldn't it be a hoot if several hundred colonists went back and preached at every street corner in London, telling them to don their red coats again and be men?
The Muslims wouldn’t get away with this without the full backing and support of the government. They wouldn’t even be in Britain or be able to live a week there without the government.

Threats of violence are clearly criminal acts. But since the British government will likely not do anything about it, the solution is private security.
Oddly enough, the day may be saved by organized crime. That is, to pay for “protection” from organized criminals who will lean on the fanatics. Organized crime in London did not end with the Kray brothers, and even organized criminals rather like acting on behalf of “patriotic” reasons, as distorted their their lens.
They could start by getting a dozen bully boys, and seriously roughing up the leader of the Islamists, to send a message. And it would be an effective message, since such agitators, fond of sending others to do their dirty work, are very reluctant to put their on rear end on the line.

If that’s meant for me, I have NEVER denied that the UK has a problem with Islamic extremists. All I and the other British freepers have done and do is try and correct the hysteria about Islam and the UK, as many here believe that the UK is actually run by these fanatics.

Yes, because it isn’t true.
In fact, the law has been strengthened twice in favour of the victim/homeowner in the last ten years. And this myth bases itself mainly on the Tony Martin case, which I and others have explained. Also, the US myth of no Limey self-defence also in based on the British procedure of police investigation, which again I and others have explained.
It is perfectly legal to defend yourself and your home/property in the UK. This idea we aren’t is a myth.
BTW, as some here know, I myself was the 2008 victim of a burglary and assault, so I KNOW this myth is bunkum.

No. Sadly true. But that dosent mean every story or belief about the UK is true.
