"The conservative pressure groups have power because of their threatened ability to oust lawmakers who don't meet their standard.

"But now Boehner, Ryan, and the rest of the Republican leaders have defied them, essentially calling their bluff.

"Can they really exact revenge on three-quarters of the House Republicans?

"Or will they have to accept that they’re not in charge anymore?"

Boehner’s going to cost them the House.

Keep insulting your base, keep pushing Amnesty, that’s how you lose.

It is more than clear that someone has a ring through John’s *ahem*, and they yank on him whenever they want him to do their bidding. Thus John is not a Republican, he is a republicant and he works for his masters who are not the American People. Boehner and Roberts would make nice bookends in Soros’s library of useful fools.

Wow! Speaker Boehner really does have a spine, and we thought he was a complete pushover. Now we know he’ll fight...conservatives.

Molly is so far-left that David Corn and Chris Matthews are thinking of adopting her.

If this is what you get for giving the GOPe the house I will be staying out of the next election.

To me this looks just like the dems control the house senate and the presidency. So till I get a conservative in my district I choose not to vote.

Can’t exactly remember when I started calling republicans “them”, but it’s been a good while now.

RE: “So till I get a conservative in my district I choose not to vote.”

I’ve made the same decision.

I will never vote against a Republican.

But starting today, unless he is a reliable Conservative, I will not vote for him, either.

Or are you just a lazy dweeb?

Or perhaps.. it’s all about you?

So he’s actually able to hold a line when it’s against true conservatives? Interesting. Maybe he’s learning how to do it where it’s safe before he tries it on ideological enemies.

I find that if you want something from someone, insulting them probably isn't the best sales technique to use.

Boehner's goal is to marginalize the conservatives in preparation for his amnesty push in 2014. Boehner does have one primary challenger that I am aware of, Eric Gurr. When will there be a moneybomb for him? He will need all the help he can get since Boehner will have big bucks from the cheap labor lobby supporting him.
