We do the same thing only we’re more suttle. I just heard that a plane crashed and the only one killed was the guy who blew the whistle on Obamas birth certificate. On FNC Bret at 6pm.

You are so right about this.

Most of us “round eye” Westerners cannot even comprehend the degree of conformity that is expected in a society like North Korea. Many of our historic autocratic governments in the West expected and valued dissent among the high court officials, with the monarch or despot or dictator deliberately encouraging his highest advisers to argue about the best course of action so long as they all agreed that they would fall in line behind whatever course of action the king, emperor, or other top leader finally decided.

That simply is not the case in places like North Korea. Groupthink isn't perceived as a problem; it's an unquestioned necessity for survival.

And as you know, it's an Asian problem, not just a Korean problem, though North Korea is probably the most extreme example still in existence.

Imperial Japan acted the way it did for a reason, and with the full meaning of the insult intended, North Korea has much more in common with the past history of Japan than it would like to admit.

Have read Jang was executed by machine gun fire. Sources are: Jaehwan Cho 조재환 S.#Korea's ruliing party congressman Seo Sang-ki : "We presumed Jang Song Thaek was executed by heavy machine gun". Also: Hawon Jung ‏@allyjung Jang was executed by machine gun, says S.#Korea MP, head of intelligence committee. Military says no unusual troops movement in N.Korea yet
