Yet, in my home state, CT, WTIC AM stays high power, 50,000 wattage, flamethrower power station, all the time, 24/7. Maybe only when fromt time to time, during the spring/summer, when their tower has to be worked on, say on a Saturday or Sunday night, going into the overnight, and thus they annouce it as well, they go off for a couple of hours. But that is it.

Part of all this is because of Cumulus/Clear Channel (the latter has Premiere Radio syndication). Cumulus has their own stable of hosts; Geraldo is going NYC only but he was with them. Dennis Miller is moving from 10a-1p to noon to 3,
and Huckabee is going off.

Mark Levin, Savage,Imus (it says Huckabee & Geraldo but again they’ll be gone, other than Geraldo locally in NY)

Premiere

Coast to Coast, Rush, Hannity, Beck, liberal Randi Rhodes

Cumulus: WABC 770
Clear Channel: WOR 710

Have picked up WTIC when traveling in Ohio, etc. I have
XM radio in my own car (and cellphone) if I need Red Sox,
etc. but if I’m in a rental without sat. radio and I’m
out there, WTIC comes in handy.

Elliot in the Morning apparently didn’t last long at WOR. No mention of him/his show on WOR site and Mark Simone was apparently in this morning. Radio boards are saying apparently the Elliot show didn’t work out...some wonder if Scott Shannon will do show? Or who knows who else
