As I long suspected, people in SC are too uninformed to retire Loveable Lindsey.

Dude….it’s EARLY…..and when they realize that Bright IS the Tea Party challenger, Grhaam is done. (this will happen in January by the way…..puhleeze don’t fall for polls a this early juncture….)

I’ve noticed in S. Carolina an unusually loud and aggressive gay lobby - very unlike other southern states. I just wonder if it’s the new Miami Beach.

WTF is right! I don’t see how Graham is getting 54% of the Vote over 4 challengers. The last approval ratings for Graham were pretty poor. - http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/3085437/posts

It is also important to remember that Graham has a lot of money—he’s already paying Huckabee to tout him in radio ads.

Registered voters, not registered Republicans, much less likely voters…..early, name recognition is key, and actually this is awful news for Lindsey to be at 54% among this group.

vote splitting is the way to dilute the message and the cash.

without case graham is safe.

Bull. There are too many “tea party” challengers—splitting the vote.

I haven’t looked at the story, but I bet the entire “no Lindsey” vote exceeds the “yes Lindsey” vote.

This is the problem with trying to oust an incumbent—there are head-fake candidates and other well-meaning challengers who want to replace the incumbent. They each siphon off a small portion of the electorate, which means the big name wins by default.

The approvals among conservatives IS low….this Gravis poll is ALL VOTERS…..not just conservatives and not even just Republicans.

That's ironic…I stated just a couple minutes ago on another thread that Lindsey was playing to the uninformed Huckabee/Santorum audience…...

You are correct that there is a huge anti Lindsey vote….and among Republicans and conservatives, it does exceed the pro Lindsey vote.

At this point, the split is not a problem. The idea is to keep LG below 50% in the primary round one……

So having a few in there will help actually. And in January, expect a certain candiate to emerge as “the” Tea Party candidate.

In the SC pubbie primary any candidate must get 50%+1 to win; so if there are 5 candidates and linda grammy gets 46% and the 4 get the remaining 54% the candidate with the second most votes is now in a run off against linda.

This is the time when the conservatives MUST stick together and if they do, linda retires to the fag farm with prissy little goats.

Actually you could consider it good news for Graham. South Carolina has open primaries. Dems can and probably will cross over to vote to keep Lindsey in office.
