It’s cheaper to produce reality TV shows. You Don’t have to pay actors or writers.

....Spanish channels...

I have the same problem you do, and giving up basic cable is very tempting. Why should I have to pay for Spanish-speaking TV, and not have so much as CSpan included? Since English-speaking shows have a Spanish option, you'd thing Spanish-speaking shows would have an English option.

Or better yet, they should let me choose stations to replace the gibberish. grrrr....

In my area I can only pick up 2-3 digital stations, and one of those is a 24/7 religious broadcast station.

I even tried a booster on the antenna, and it didn’t improve the number. I would need a tall outside antenna, and even that would be iffy. I live in an apt complex, and they don’t allow outside antennas.

Stations are not broadcasting at the strength they were when most people did not have access to satellite or cable.

Regular TV is dead.

And hallelujah for that.

I spend a lot of time on YouTube. In fact, YouTube played a large part in helping me learn to play guitar. Universities will put lectures on YouTube and many documentaries can be found there as well. It's definitely a golden age of free information.

I liked most of the cast, including the actor who played the Captain. I just felt Miss Underwood’s acting was very flat and Mary Martin always brought such vitality to her roles.

My husband and I watched the first half of “The Rough Riders” last night. I want Francesco Quinn.
