At the "Fast Food Forward" protest on Thursday, Rep. Keith Ellison (D-Minn.) demanded that Pres. Obama sign an executive order bypassing Congress and unilaterally raising the federal minimum wage. Rep. Ellison told the crowd that they should join him in demanding that Pres. Obama skip seeking Congressional approval and raise the minimum wage on his own - and that he sent the president a letter on Wednesday presenting his demand:

"We in Congress will try to raise the minimum wage. We got opponents on the other side of the aisle who say that there shouldn't be no minimum wage. So, we are in difficulty fighting these guys. "But, we know, at the executive level, an executive order can change the situation. We demand it, right now. Mr. President, sign the executive order. We demand this federal worker work reform, federal contractors. Give the pay raise, the livable, fair wage. Let's do it now. I gave him a letter to this effect, yesterday." As Ellison walked off stage, the crowd chanted: "Sign the executive order!"
Sure. Raise the minimum wage to $15. Then watch the jobs disappear.
If $15 is good, wouldn’t $30 be better. And if $30 is great, wouldn’t $60 be even greater? And so on.
The unions are desperate. The DemonRATs have tapped them out for money and now they have to ramp up the wage rates.
The RINO Congress SHOULD start proceedings to expel Ellison for violation of his Oath of Office. He’s out campaigning for the overthrow of the U.S. Constitution.
The whole country is descending rapidly into total lawlessness.
Not surprising, since most of the Catholic bishops are lawless. They refuse to obey Canon 915.
Today, someone asked me, “How can fast-food workers live on $8/hour! How is that fair? The hourly wage needs to be raised for those jobs!”
I replied, “What jobs? What jobs are you talking about? 91 MILLION people can’t find jobs. You’re worried about raising wages on jobs that don’t exist.”
The Marxists talk about ‘fairness,’ but what’s ‘fair’ about raising McDonalds salaries while 91 million folks are earning ZERO dollars/hour since they’re unemployed?

Will Ellison be ok with the next Republican President lowering taxes by executive decree then? How about a Republican President deciding to approve fracking and such??
Or even better a Republican President defunding Obamacare by executive decree.

The food service sector was almost in marginal existence in the 1960s. You went to a bowling alley, a McDonalds, or some local restaurant. Today? In any town of 20,000....there’s at least thirty establishments, and they translate into 1,200 jobs in the local area.
In the 1990s....it was deemed appropriate to get into the job market there, and then move on.....finding better jobs, education, and more opportunity.
Well...here we are....with no new markets, a declining industry pattern throughout all fifty states (we shifted jobs to Mexico and China)....and we pretend that the food service sector is now a life-time job.
Something about this is absolutely wrong in vision. Even if you made the jobs $10 an hour....you simply are gaming the sector for 2020 and $14 an hour.
We screwed up when we allowed industry to pack and leave. And this gimmick here? This is the answer to our issues? I just don’t believe it.
Nah, opening a business, creating wealth, and employing people is “little people’s” work. This scum sucking piece of shit believes that he is above that kind of thing.
Sadly, thanks to the low information voters, for now he is. Sigh.

Keith Ellison is a traitor to the United States Constitution for demanding that Obama violate the Constitution and the Laws of the United States. He should be immediately censured and expelled from Congress.

While we’re on this subject, I watch the Food Network and they have so many shows dedicated to people who want to open up a restaurant, or food truck. With so many people out of work...out of money, who’s spending their money on eating out?

Really, trying to be a good Christian, I would foremost wish Barack to get a clue-by-four and just stop the nonsense. Quit if he has to, because all those lies have to be confusing even him. Even stupid Joe Biden would be a vast improvement over this evil.
I can’t make any prediction here. Barack has browned off so many elements, it is impossible for me to get a good reading on what will give way and result in his ultimate downfall. He certainly is courting disaster. No other US president was close to this bad. Not Jimmy Carter. Not Bill Clinton. Not Richard Nixon. All virtually saints in comparison.
