“My biggest gripe with both CFL and LED bulbs is RF emissions.”
Same here. I have a lamp with a 3-way CFL bulb in it, and it induces a hum in the Bose radio next to it. I haven’t left them both on together long enough yet to see if the hum diminishes as the bulb warms up.
I haven’t bought any LED bulbs yet. I was hoping they might not emit RF interference, but I guess that’s not going to be the case.
Here’s a video of a guy doing an RF test on incandescent, CFL, and LED bulbs.
The LED was the worst of the lot.

Of course, some are better than others depending on manufacturer.
Thanks a lot GOP and G W Bush!
No wonder their brand is so useless.
I have about 250-300 100w light bulbs stored.
Suggest trying a PAR series 5000K LED which replaces outdoor incandescent spotlights. My wife uses a Utilitec Pro PAR38 with a beam dispersion of about 35° and a blinding 1400 lumen for her project work light. The lamp is deeply recessed in a fixture to shield eyes from stray light at the emissions aperture.

Last sentence in your post #5.
you’re right, when I opened the converter and went km to ft it had a prior value in it which didn’t carry over when I switched the from/to conversion...
