Mark Pryor, the incumbent Democratic senator from Arkansas up for reelection next year, is releasing a new TV ad Wednesday in which he invokes his belief in God. The ad first aired on the news broadcast on ABC affiliate KATV in Little Rock Tuesday evening.
"I'm not ashamed to say that I believe in God and I believe in His word," says a bespectacled Pryor, who is holding an open Bible. "The Bible teaches us no one has all the answers--only God does. And neither political party's always right." Watch the ad and news report on it below:

And neither political party's always right."That's why you ALWAYS vote with Dingy Harry, eh Mark?

Is God to blame for Obamacare and millions of Americans losing their health insurance?? Is God to blame for the IRS auditing a man with cancer who had his insurance cancelled and who dared to speak out about it? Is God responsible for bowing to Harry Reid on every important vote and then blah-blahing about what the terrible consequences those votes imposed on the rest of us? Did God provide the needed 60th vote to pass this fiasco?? NO, YOU did, Mr. Pryor.

Did he vote for ObamaCare, which requires Christians to finance the killing of unborn citizens? The slobbering Democrat media won’t ask him that question. They save all their abortion questions for Christians running for office as Republicans.

And here's the issue. Pryor may be a morally upright guy, but simply by his party affiliation his vote counts for Harry Reid and all the other Democrats in the Senate. Therefore, by Pryor's Democrat affiliation he facilitates abortion. He facilitates homosexuality. He facilitates Obama. He facilitates Obamacare.
If Pryor is serious about his faith then let him come out of the Democrat party and separate himself from them. From those who booed God at their Party convention. From those who booed Israel at their convention.
Leveraging God for personal gain while not requiring personal responsibility is wrong.

If he is a Democrat. If he voted for obamacare, then in my opinion, he is many things. However, a Christian is not one of them. Using the Holy Bible in the manner he did, in my opinion again, profanes the Holy Word of God. As far as his, "I believe in God", goes , James wrote in the Holy Bible, even the Demons believe and they tremble, or words to that effect.

He can just run on Obamacare. Debbie Washerman Schultz says he’ll cruise to victory on it. So has Nancy Pelosi, if memory serves.

Is it possible to be a collectivist and a follower of Jesus?
The two are opposed to each other in so many ways.

Did God provide the needed 60th vote to pass this fiasco?? NO, YOU did, Mr. Pryor. Not everyone who says to me, Lord, Lord, will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father in heaven. On that day many will say to me, Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many deeds of power in your name? Then I will declare to them, I never knew you; go away from me, you evildoers. ... Matthew 7: 21-23

This is exactly what is meant by ‘shall not take my name in vain.’ Has absolutely nothing to do with cussing.

In the Senate elections next year, the Republicans have to emphasize that each Red/Purple State Dem provided the key vote to pass this fiasco - if ONLY ONE of them - Pryor, Landrieu, Hagan, Warner, Shaheen, Udall, Franken - had stood for principle several of them now tout when it is immaterial, the devastation and injury this mess will cause would have been avoided. Each of them instead, provided the essential 60th Vote - we cannot allow them to distort history now that it has turned out to be an utter disaster.

Yes, really.
“I believe in God”,that’s your pitch? Your running for the Senate, not applying for the preacher’s job.
Try again.

The honorable way out of the self imposed mess you participated in is resign your Senate seat and become a preacher.

I agree....they should emphasize this for EVERY democrat everywhere. Their national campaign should be against the entire party.

"Relatively moderate Democrat"? The author needs to expand on that term.
How does this crap get past the editors?
Oops, silly me, it's the Weakly Standard.
