I am not sure. Probably near Santiago as we still need to earn some money. I have never been so we are thinking of a scouting trip this winter/spring.

We checked out Panama last winter. It was my first dive into South/Central America. While I liked it, I didn't love it. I think Chile may be more my speed.

I have heard Belize is very nice. Although, like Costa Rica and Panama is more expensive than other places. I think whatever country I would move to, I would first RENT for about a year. I would be in no rush to buy. A lot of these countries do not have an MLS real estate service like we are used to here. It seems like there are a lot of insider deals made.
