Re: Emergency trucks rushing to County Road 418

Google map shows CR 418 is South/Southwest of Granview and 418 to the north dead ends at FM 916 where it shows a business named Specialty Rescue & Fire Service. Their website is at http://www.specialtyrescue.com/ and says:

"SR&FS personnel are trained in the latest cutting edge technology and methods in the business. We provide the best support and communication within the industry. Whether you need the standard course taught, service performed, or a customized course designed specifically for your facility, we can assist you in meeting your needs."

Flat to rolling hills in the region. Depending what knoll or berm your home is behind, an explosion at ground level might go above or around you.

Not good. Hate to see industrial accidents/failures like this. People just trying to eek out a living, and those in the region just trying to go about life.

Again, not good.

Hope there isn’t a big loss of life here.

My friends in Venus and Waxahachie all thought a plane crashed. I am in Red Oak....it reminded me of the night West blew up. The roof felt like it was going to lift off for 10 seconds.

Does anyone think it might be the handiwork of Green-weenie Eco-terrorists?

When I was 15, I went to school in Keene, Texas, 4 miles West of Alvarado.

Wonder if there is where they manufacture their oilfield explosives.

Shape charges for perforating guns, sample taker charges, primer cord, etc.
