When we won WWII, we MADE Japan outlaw their old religion, where the emperor was their deity, and we GAVE them a Western Constitution, by which Japan has grown to a world economic power that dwarfs what they had accomplished through military means.
But then we haven't fought a war to victory since then, nor allowed our allies to do so, which explains why the world is in the state it's in. And then when our military wins all the battles, those "leaders" do all they can to reverse what was won in battle! Sure, let's let these savages write their own "constitution," which ensures they'll stay in their medieval state and be a breeding ground for anti-Western terrorists!
