Actually, there is an alternative to Facebook, it’s called real life.
This isn’t Mrs Kang’s first “viral” photo dust up on FB. If you read her backstory, she has has an eating disorder (overcame that but IMO replaced it w/a gym obsession). She works at being “writer/blogger” so my guess is Mr. Kang provides the gym fees. She’s not so much obnoxious as over zealous, and I think, trying to make herself a “brand” to market (again no issues w/what market will bear.). FWIW, I Don’t think her personality would transfer well into the ‘motivation’ part of fitness.
Meh.
They are just parsing statistics. Smokers are less likely to die of heart attacks too. Why ? Because they die of cancer first.
It’s well established that obesity lowers your life expectancy and gives you all sorts of health problems. And yes, you may be more likely to survive a heart attack, but you are much more likely to have one (or many) at an earlier age.

I’ve helped a number of people get in shape / get healthy.
I’ve never heard any of them say they felt better mentally or physically when they were fat.
gosh what do you have against overweight women? Walk in someone elses shoes. eff. This woman doesn’t speak for me or any other woman and you men are beginning to irritate the hell out of me too! Some of us are happy with who we are 20, 30 lbs overweight whatever. When I was YOUNGER AND THINNER I DIDN’T TREAT GROUPS OF WOMEN HARSHLY WITH LOOK AT ME LOOK AT ME. just chill with your chauvinistic view points and stop holding onto image and objectification.
