Obama to Landrieu: I Don’t Need You Anymore (only 51 required)

**SNIP**

Last week, Landrieu was “thrilled” to join 51 of her Democrat colleagues in invoking the nuclear option. The controversial move, which Obama opposed in 2005 saying it was “more about power than about fairness,” stripped the minority’s ability to filibuster executive branch nominees and most judicial nominees.

In 2005, Obama cautioned “this rule change will be no fairer to a Republican minority than it is to a Democratic minority.” After the vote, a Politico reporter updated the Red Team versus Blue Team implications, suggesting Obama will no longer depend on “Republicans like John McCain of Arizona, Kelly Ayotte of New Hampshire and Lisa Murkowski of Alaska who regularly helped Democrats get to 60.” Instead, the “focus will be on the moderate Democrats who sometimes buck the White House and party leadership.”

Another little side benefit to Bammy is that now he can give Kathleen Sebelius the heave-ho and not have to worry too much about getting her replacement confirmed.

It won't matter since the 2014 elections will be invalidated by the new DC Circuit court appointments as "unfair to minorities, etc", and an injunction will be filed to prevent certifying elections in all "Red States".

The supremes will refuse to hear any challenges using the typical "no standing" or "it has to play out in the lower courts first" argument, lead by Chief Injustice "Its a Tax when it's not a Penalty, and a Penalty when it's not a Tax" Roberts.

So while it takes years for all of this to play out, the current dem office holders will make the "goverment can't shut down while this is resolved so let's agree to leave everything as is for the moment" argument, and the quisling GOPe congressmen who were booted out are more than happy to cooperate "in the name of bipartisanship".

And thus the coup will be complete.

That's when the war starts.

A smart politician in the senate of democrat underpinnings should switch parties right now, before Iran sets off a nuke and our entire healthcare system collapses. That way they can help fix their mess. Repeal healthcare and over-ride a veto. Impeach Dumbo unless he comes clean and behaves.

Good post. 2014 and 2016 are going to be watershed events. Dems are consolidating power in advance. Doesn’t look good for our side right now.

Never going to happen unfortunately. The best we can hope for now is to win the senate in 2014, but that’s a big hill to climb with lots of obstacles. Even if we win, the chances of impeachment are still very slim. Republicans would just say we’ll neutralize him and take back the presidency in 2016. They don’t want anything to do with removing the clown prince.

If Iran tests a nuke, the thing in the whitehut is toast. Democrats won’t survive. They will test a nuke before the elections. Obama is not deserving of their respect.

I rear-ended a car this morning. So, there we were alongside the road and slowly the other driver got out of his car. You know how sometimes
you just get soooo stressed and little things just seem funny? Yeah, well I couldn’t believe it.... he was a dwarf.

He stormed over to my car, looked up at me, and shouted, “I AM NOT HAPPY!!!”

Unable to help myself, I looked down at him and said, “Well, then which one are you?”

And then the fight started.....

Obama is not deserving of their respect.

**********
Nobody respects him or believes him. He is widely perceived as an empty suit and has virtually zero credibility both here and around the world. Obama is a total disaster.

I have a feeling there’s going to be a lot more pain before his reign finally ends.

There was a whole site full of “and then the fight started” jokes,
but when I got to that one, I stopped...
