Final Sidewalk Project Update:
After the sidewalk, driveway apron, landscaping, irrigation system and mulch was completed, I had to do lawn repairs/re-seeding and use salt marsh hay (no weed seeds) to cover the areas, which extended into the side and back yards. All straw and leaves had to be raked-off before any mowing.
The new grass seedlings had come-in very nicely, but needed a mowing before winter. I had a friend stop by with his walk-behind mower so we wouldn't rut the soft ground with Dad's heavy riding mower, and cut the grass to 1½". Mowing the grass now toughens seedlings for upcoming frost and snow, and lets them begin underground root division, so that they come-in lush and thick in the spring.
I hand-raked the front acre of all leaves and straw, and will get the side and back 2½-acres early in the spring, since those areas were seeded 2-3 weeks later and just aren't ready for cutting. This is the debris just from the front acre.
There's a lot of nice compost material there, and all over the York area. I miss my 10,000+ ton compost pile at the old Family Farm.

Don’t they have to re-vote for it to be returned to super-majority? Or is it automatic? I don’t know.

Thanks; it was a long project without one of my trained crews. We worked like M134 Mini-Guns on full-auto.

Thanks. There’s a lot of big, ol’ trees on the property, and all that straw (10 bales) and leaves were just from the front acre.
There is a 300-400yr old Copper Beech (Fagus sylvatica ‘Cuprea’), on the National Arborist Registry, in the backyard which holds 90% of its leaves until spring. It’s ***massive*** and drops 1,000x the size of that pile, alone.
