The Jarrett File - What we know about Obama’s secretive adviser
National Review ^ | November 20, 2013 | Andrew Stiles

"..................Jarrett’s official job description is “somewhat vague,” Becker writes, noting that at least part of her role is to serve as “chief liaison to the business community, state and local governments, and the professional left,” but her influence is undeniable. She commands a staff of nearly three dozen and has a hand in decisions ranging from the invitation list to state dinners and what gifts to give foreign leaders, to who should be nominated to the Supreme Court, appointed to a vacant ambassadorship, or awarded the President Medal of Freedom. When Warren Buffett visits to the White House for lunch, the table is set for three.

White House memos are littered with references to what “VJ thinks” or “VJ says.” When Standard & Poor’s downgraded the country’s credit rating in August 2011, she was among a select few invited to Camp David to discuss how to manage the fallout. She is “effectively the chief of staff,”...

Tellingly, despite presiding over one of the greatest political disasters in recent memory, Sebelius remains at her post, whereas Jarrett’s enemies rarely stick around for long. The White House reportedly went to great lengths last month to out a senior official—Jofi Joseph of the National Security Council—who had been operating an anonymous Twitter account, @natsecwonk, which was highly critical of the administration. Among Joseph’s offending tweets: “I’m a fan of Obama, but his continuing reliance and dependence upon a vacuous cipher like Valerie Jarrett concerns me.” Joseph was fired immediately after his identity was discovered in a sting operation coordinated by the White House and State Department.

Jodi Kantor’s The Obamas revealed a September 2010 clash between Jarrett and former White House press secretary Robert Gibbs. When Jarrett informed him that Michelle Obama was not pleased with his work, Gibbs went ballistic, telling Jarrett...

Everyone seems to portray VJ as a brilliant person. But without the MSM running interference for her puppet, Obama, we see that they are very petty people. She it a vindictive person who must stay in the shadows and hide behind someone. She could never hold a leadership position where she could be held personally accountable.

“....[She] has a hand in decisions [regarding] what gifts to give foreign leaders...”

Now it can be told!

“.....One CEO complained to [Jonathan] Alter that “when we go to the White House, we talk to people we wouldn’t hire.” Alter himself has likened Jarrett’s role in the White House to “the CEO putting his sister in charge of marketing.”

Ironically enough, Jarrett has considerably more experience as an executive than her boss.......”

When you go and look at all the goof-ball mistakes from the very beginning...like that gift business where the President gave Gordon Brown of the UK a gift of some US DVD’s....that can only be played on a US DVD player....this is all amateur stupid mistakes that Jarrett likely created. Every screw-up and stumble of this administration...even this recent hinted episode Jarrett running a Iran-Nuclear treaty...is all third-grade behavior of some juvenile.

I think the "Obama's Rasputin" is most appropriate. She is soetoro's puppetmaster. She coordinates and passes on the orders to the TelePrompTer which are then read by barry.

If it weren’t so sad —and scary—it would almost be laughable.

It sounds like they are working off of an old Laurel and Hardy script.

“.....In his biography of Obama, “The Bridge,” David Remnick, editor of The New Yorker, quotes White House senior adviser and longtime Obama friend Valerie Jarrett: “I think Barack knew that he had God-given talents that were extraordinary. He knows exactly how smart he is. ... He knows how perceptive he is. He knows what a good reader of people he is. And he knows that he has the ability — the extraordinary, uncanny ability — to take a thousand different perspectives, digest them and make sense out of them, and I think that he has never really been challenged intellectually. ... So what I sensed in him was not just a restless spirit but somebody with such extraordinary talents that had to be really taxed in order for him to be happy. ... He’s been bored to death his whole life. He’s just too talented to do what ordinary people do.”..... - Pittsburg Tribune

Valerie Jarrett.

Codename = Vajazzle.

Observing Vajazzle and Hussein, are we surprised that the Moslem World is stuck in the 7th century?

Rasputin was not politically or managerially competent either. But he arguably brought on the Revolution.

The complete and utter contempt for America and Americans demonstrated by the Obama ilk is surely unprecedented. Val/Jar's free-lancing, "fingers in every pot, "undefined" job (by federal standards)---is appalling.

Acts like she was an elected official with free rein over our government. This chick wasn't elected to anything.

Moreover, this sounds a lot Like Pres Reagan's "Kitchen Cabinet" which was forced out of the WH. The KC was a group of influential people who helped Reagan get elected......they influenced appointments and policies.

However, during the Reagan years, respect for the Office was at an all-time high. So high that the Kitchen Cabinet was told to meet at the RNC.....by Reagan's own staff. Seems the KC's deliberations on Presidential appointments, and such, would be subject FOIA requests, and its members subject to disclosure laws.

Would that we had today the self-same high regard for the Office of President...instead of the Chicago transplants, toadies and factotums Obama employs.

Her fundamental purpose, IMO, is to issue Obama's illegal orders, so that the orders can't be traced back to him.

It’s true, they act like children. “ republicans want obamacare to fail that’s why it’s doing so bad.” My twelve year old could do better.
