White House optimistic Obama will bounce back from healthcare glitches

".......Administration officials privately acknowledge that no argument defending Obamacare will connect with Americans until they begin to see the effects of the law at work. No work-around or temporary fix will reach enough people to build a critical mass of support. The website has to function, admit edgy aides who sometimes spit the word "website" with the contempt familiar to anyone who has ever called a tech help desk.

Obama revealed his own frustrations Thursday, saying at a White House news conference that he has an obligation to show Americans that the law has made health insurance more affordable and accessible—"if we can just get the darn website working and smooth this thing out."

Officials said Friday they were making progress on the site's many glitches and bugs. It now takes less than one second, on average, to load a page, down from eight seconds in the weeks after the launch, said Jeffrey Zients, a former top administration official who was brought back to oversee the repairs........

Still, problems persist in the system that sends consumer information to insurers, and as experts have ticked off 200 software problems, more continue to pop up. Zients said the officials expect to make the Nov. 30 goal, but added: "Not all consumers going on the website will have a seamless experience."

While the tech team works, the president must convince his allies as well as his potential adversaries that, as he said Thursday, he's a clutch player who knows how to recover from a fumble......."

......But in the face of ardent Republican opposition to the law—House Speaker John A. Boehner (R-Ohio) on Friday repeated his hope to repeal "this train wreck" —the White House has resisted any fix that puts it at the mercy of House Republicans and pushes votes on the law well into an election year.....

March 21st 2010 to October 1 2013 is 3 years, 6 months, 10 days.

December 7, 1941 to May 8, 1945 is 3 years, 5 months, 1 day.

What this means is that in the time we were attacked at Pearl Harbor to the day Germany surrendered is not enough time for this federal government to build a working webpage.

Mobilization of millions, building tens of thousands of tanks, planes, jeeps, subs, cruisers, destroyers, torpedoes, millions upon millions of guns, bombs, ammo, etc. Turning the tide in North Africa, Invading Italy, D-Day, Battle of the Bulge, Race to Berlin - all while we were also fighting the Japanese in the Pacific!!

And they can’t build a webpage.

I’m optimistic Detroit will become a crime free city and a Utopia but under Democrat control this can never happen either.

It isn’t the web page , It’s the whole frigging scam.

Me pay to mutilate some poor slob who wants his dick cut off???? That’s insane.
Me pay for Maternity benefits because I am a 71 year old man.? Crazy.
Me pay for every illegal that sneaks in over the Border?
All Doctors receive the same pay.
My medical records open to the world.

The list goes on and on, topping out with rationed care in my old age. The death panel with SEIU and Affirmative Action idiots who cannot get hired anywhere else doing the paneling.

If past trends are any indication of future trends, then this is pretty much a given, as Detroit will become crime-free by virtue of becoming population-free....

The website is the LEAST of your worries, Barky.

We passed it, now we are finding out what's in it.

Proof (imo), they've already got the gears of destruction in motion.

If this mulatto bastard (but I repeat myself) slides on all this ... I'll be voting henceforth absentee.

Obama is a cornered rat right now. We might see another high profile scandal to distract attention from Obamacare, or he’ll lash out in an unconstitutional manner. TheDaily Caller had an article stating that Obama was going to address his followers online Monday evening to rally support.

Who gives a $hit whether Obama bounces back or not. We’re trying to save this country from destruction that Obama’s policies have created.

A glitch is a sweet, short, friendly term for a minor problem that can be overcome.

The use of this word to describe the wretched rollout of the ACA via website and navigator is yet another ObamaLie.
