Assuming the parents have a health plan......by the way, does anyone know if the federal employees healthcare plan has this up to age 26 provision?
Obama's name will be a curse in the not to distant future (it already is in my world, but I'm talking about our deteriorating society at large).

1. Many of the students have parents (or more likely, a parent) who don't have a family plan. For these kids, the new coverage will be a whole lot more than the $50 a month they were paying.
2. If the parents do have a family plan that will cover kids to age 26, the cost of that plan is going to go up at least enough to cover the cost of covering more adult children, which will be a whole lot more than the $50 a month they were paying. Even with "free" birth control, this will still cost them a whole lot more.
3. Serves them right for being racists and voting for a known communist just because of his skin color.
