Oprah Winfrey has been a prominent supporter of Barack Obama. She thinks that both he and the Office of President have been treated with contempt because of the colour of his skin.

“There’s a level of disrespect for the office that occurs. And that occurs in some cases and maybe even many cases because he’s African American. There’s no question about that and it’s the kind of thing nobody ever says but everybody’s thinking it.”

I continue to hold the Office of the President of the United States of America in the highest regard. So, I dare say, do most Conservatives.

Would Ms. Winfrey care to ennumerate a few cases of this so-called "disrespect" and explain how it differs from similar cases shown towards previous (White) presidents?

She told her audience, when she had her daily afternoon show, that her grandmother worked for some nice white ladies. And now, she, Oprah, has nice white ladies working for her.

Barack Obama is half white. How does she know it isn't his white side we don't like?

But honestly, it is his lying and his down-low character I find repulsive.
