My take is the the Dems, bereft of any talking points, were getting slaughtered in the MSM and storming the WH.

Obama's presser today had 3 objectives:

1) To stem the tide of negative press from the MSM with a fix for the massive number of cancellations, i.e., I will double down and promise again you can keep it, and

2) kick the inevitable catastrophe down the road;

3) blame greedy insurance companies when they balk at Obama's new fix and say, There is no way we can honor Obama's new fix. We wish he would have consulted with us before he came out with his new fairy-tale fix.
