“And what happens once the employer mandate kicks in? Did he even address that? “
Nope, and that’s a very big elephant in the room.
Let’s face it-—the guy is an idiot.
I kinda liked laser disks.
This is like hanging an innocent man and then coming back next day and giving him a temporary stay of execution.

You know, many have said all this was intended from the beginning. I do believe they wanted this law as a stepping stone, but I do not believe they had any intention or idea that any of this would happen. I think that their ideology and arrogance convinced then that the public would see this as a huge present from government. Then they would pivot on that good will to seal the deal for single-payer.
I do not believe Obama can recover from what happened today. That’s not say won’t have highs and lows going forward, but essentially he has neutered himself in front of the American people. The Q&A made it much, much worse.
Yes...but the problem for the dims is that it collapsed in hours not months.
Exactly. And they know there will be a political bloodbath for them in November. This is going to be a very dirty election cycle.
They seemed to have better durability than tapes.
Yes, they were actually pretty good, just got overwhelmed in the tech stampede.
They converted a lot of the space to make CDs then DVDs.
Some people are so hard to please. At least he is allowing us to try to look for insurance. And he has increased our rice allowance to 20 grams per week. All hail the Great Communist Leader, and Master of Golf!
Nope, and thats a very big elephant in the room.
My take is the the Dems, bereft of any talking points, were getting slaughtered in the MSM and storming the WH.
Obama's presser today had 3 objectives:
1) To stem the tide of negative press from the MSM with a fix for the massive number of cancellations, i.e., I will double down and promise again you can keep it, and
2) kick the inevitable catastrophe down the road;
3) blame greedy insurance companies when they balk at Obama's new fix and say, There is no way we can honor Obama's new fix. We wish he would have consulted with us before he came out with his new fairy-tale fix.
Thanks very much for that. Of course it’s all a lie.
He’s in deep trouble and he knows it.
Your questions are spot on.
