As the House Select Committee on Intelligence meets with witnesses to the Benghazi attack, Americans by a two-to-one margin want Congress to continue to investigate the Obama administration’s handling of the terrorist attack that killed four Americans including a U.S. ambassador.
A just-released Fox News poll finds 65 percent of voters want lawmakers to keep investigating what happened in Benghazi. While that’s still a majority, support is down from 71 percent who felt that way six months ago (June 22-24, 2013).

Yes, and after seeing that the kenyan left Americans to die because he hates America, 65% of the sub-human filth known as the American voter will vote democratic in the next election.
Yeah, they’ll investigate it just like they investigated the IRS and the rest of the scandals. All talk and no action.
Why investigate? The unimaginably ignorant filth known as the US voter will NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER stop voting democrat. The dems have been blatantly, proudly, unabashedly un-American for AT LEAST the last 60 years, and yet, they are still a strong, viable party in this country. Americans are pure filth who deserve everything the dems (whom they put in office)give them.

This might be considered a stand down too.

Here is a third way a "stand down" policy was implemented IMO.

Dereliction of duty and lots of it. The sheer volume of the malfeasance from before, during and after the attack is truly stunning. It’s a wonder that anyone survived.
