Thinking exactly the same thing. Would be prudent. Have to protect Jeb’s chances. Laura needs more maids, cooks, and nannies. Cruz may be Hispanic, but not the right kind of Hispanic.

Oh, hey, there is George W. Bush, remember him--when you had jobs, houses, health insurance and everything cost 50% less than it does now?
Not a Bush fan but those were a damn good 8 years and in a sane world, that should be the reaction his appearance should illicit.
Unfortunately, it will probably be more like, "Me supposed to hate Bush, me love Obama. Bush bad, Obama good. Everything Bush's fault."
He really doesn't need to be coming out right now. Counter productive. The GOPe probably cooked it up for this very reason.

I thought it curious that, while he was prez, he always vacationed ‘at the ranch.’ But, as soon as he is out of office, he settles in the city — quite a distance from the ranch.
So, the ranch was just an 8-year prop?
It also seems that every time one of these Bush folk open their mouths, they reveal how leftist/liberal they really are.

So, the ranch was just an 8-year prop? Ofcourse. I always thought that. Remember how modest it was too?

Bingo!
And we’ll find out he’s really been pro-abortion all along...
Like Laura, Babs and daughters....sigh

Not quite. The Bush Team saw the crash coming as early as the spring of 2007 and tried to hold it off. But, it hit in the summer of 2008. That is when the big bailouts began.
That was still on Bush's watch.

I said....2007 was the year he started the illegal immigration push.
To: TomGuy
Yeah, I understand all that. Anybody paying attention knew the crash was coming. I meant on a superficial level, those years were milk and honey. It is hard not to look upon them fondly, especially now.

He always was all hat and no cattle. Literally.
I always believed his Christianity and re-birth was largely a prop too. (and it worked like crazy)

Great point. I have not heard anyone point that out! Almost like he wanted to out-Reagan Ronald. Remember Reagan clearing brush and chopping wood?
Then GW becomes a suburbanite: Nice insight.
