In a recent study of U.S. presidents' personality traits, Lyndon Johnson ranked highest in grandiose narcissism.

While it frequently gets a bad rap, grandiose narcissism may predict both positive and negative leadership behaviors, according to a group of researchers who published a paper in October in Psychological Science.

LBJ's Great Society has caused more human misery than any other U.S. President's actions by far.

LBJ created the "Vietnam War", as we know it. Somehow Republicans seem to be blamed for it now.

Okay.

I simply pointed out that the study ended with George W. Bush.

I’d have to agree. Any person who would present the Pope a statue of himself as LBJ did has to be a man of immense ego.

When I was a kid and my older bro was in Vietnam I used to scare the crap out of my younger brother by telling him LBJ lived under the basement steps. I would draw a caricature of LBJ on table napkins and slide them over to him during dinner and he’d practically faint. LBJ was my personal boogeyman - we were a Goldwater family - we even had a red cat named Goldwater! Today I like to think LBJ and McNamara are cleaning out the stables in Hades. LBJ was a dirty rotten creep democrat of the tallest order. Hard to say whose a worse narcissist - between him and Obama. LBJ is the worst American Narcissist President and the Preezy is the worst “post-American” Narcissist President.

Is that a shopped photo?

If not, it’s very Mousilini looking for sure.

In the USAF a popular ditty for the late 60's was:

Jesus loves me, Yes he do

Lyndon Johnson told him to...

Well, it’s good to find someone who realizes that George W. Bush was the 42nd President. Ask the average journalist and he or she probably thinks Obama is the 44th person to hold the office—people forget that Grover Cleveland #22 and Grover Cleveland #24 were the same person.

Sorry to say, it's the real deal. From the 2009 Inauguration.

Army as well. Part of a cadence I heard in the mid 70’s. My DI probably picked up in the 60’s.

Now... Sound Off!.... Sound Off!.... 1, 2, 3, 4...

LBJ helped pioneer ballot fraud in the US.

Thanks Cincinatus’ Wife.

Whatever the left is blaming on the Conservatives is something of which they are guilty.

Take it to the bank.

Grover Cleveland had two presidential terms #22 and #24 interrupted by Benjamin Harrison, who was #23.

LBJ helped pioneer ballot fraud in the US.

Wouldn't give him that much "credit." Vote fraud was not unusual in the US, especially in urban areas with their (mostly Democratic) political machines, going back to the 1800s. But LBJ's stealing the 1948 primary for US Senate in Texas by manufacturing about 200 votes in a rural county was probably the most historically significant instance of it up to that time. If not for the fraud, LBJ would have been out of Congress then and could have been gone from elective office forever. American history would probably have been vastly different.

LBJ was more than a "grandiose narcissist." He was a severe psychopath and his crude, boorish, and violent behavior has been chronicled.

With the 50th anniversary of the JFK assassination fast approaching, LBJ remains a hot suspect in the assassination case. In all probability, he masterminded several other murders as well.

A new book, "The Man Who Killed Kennedy: The Case Against LBJ", by Roger Stone and Mike Colapietro, reveals a slew of unflattering anecdotes about LBJ's psychiatric problems, and makes a strong case for his involvement in the Kennedy assassination as well. This is far from the first book fingering Johnson in that crime.

And yet, as BAD as LBJ was, he did not destroy the American way of life in the same deliberate way that the current Narcissist-in-chief is doing.

(I agree with you, BTW)
