I’m truly convinced our nation is entering God’s judgment.

We abort over a million babies a year. We celebrate sodomy. We call evil good, and good evil.

Ana election or two is not going to save this nation. We are entering very dark times.

I am in Keaau and thoroughly disgusted starting with Evercrummy through the Senate and House. We worked as hard as we could with the limited time we had to get folks aroused to oppose this same-sex marriage crap, but the whole fiasco was a foregone setup from the start.
My efforts from here on in are to work for the defeat of Hanohano and Onishi.
This has been a case of elected officials voting their desires opposed to the desires of the voters.

I propose shifting energy output from general criticism to specific constructive action. I worked hard for Lingle in the first campaign, and not quite so hard in the second (when she won). I worked very hard for Aiona & Finnegan and was in shock for a long time at their epic loss. I visited churches all over the Big Island in the run-up to the election, with a large sign mounted on pvc pipe saying: Christians - Do you know the voting record of Neil Abercrombie? I stood outside churches on Sundays as the congregation left the parking lot, handing out sheets listing Abercrombie’s votes in Congress. And I have just spent 60 days straight on all manner of things to prevent this homosexualization. Now the task is to organize statewide with all of the churches to put into the House & Senate good candidates, district by district. Onishi will be taken out of my district. I will devote the next year to seeing this happen.

Maybe we know each other. I’m the one who organized the meeting at the Keaau Community Center with Onishi, who then backed out, but 60 showed up and we showed the Mass Resistance video. Write me an email and we will work together to oust the 2 you mention. We had a group phone discussion today at 2pm with Dylan Nonaka & Lani Kaaa & Richard Fale’s wife about finding and running good candidates in each district.

Can somebody explain this bill to me? I was under impression Hawaii voters amended their constitution. Does state legislature there have the power to undo amendments or do I have it wrong?

Just seems weird to me. The left keeps saying “Don’t vote on gay marriage/’civil rights’” but when the vote goes their way they don’t seem to complain.

Iran nuking up, problem solved. Record unemployment, problem solved. Massive deficits, problem solved. Foreign invasion on the southern border, problem solved. Chinese threats to asian allies, problem solved. Economy on life support, problem solved. Pot holes, problem solved. I guess all thats left to do is increase the divorce lawyers’ client base and let homosexuals marry.

Personally I dont care aboutthe issue. The government shouldn’t be involved. No, anyone would have to be an idiot to get married, economically speaking. Obamacare pretty much killed off the institution with the marriage penalties.

Actually, it was put to a vote. It was passed by the legislature and about to be signed by the executive, which is how things work in a republic.

leading the Republican Caucus in the State House ,she led and encouraged the R group in voting for and approving the creation of Islam Day in Hawaii . Then she stuck to her guns on the matter and tried to deny everything ,until it became a major campaign issue that everyone was asking her about in the run up to election . Until forced to make a fuzzy and smarmy semi-apology and disavowal of knowing what the proposed resolution was all about . Zero homework , zero leadership and then a degree of cover-up . She lost a lot of support . She hurt Duke . but cute....
