French out-tough US over Iran nuclear program

When Iran appeared close to a preliminary deal with world powers over its nuclear program, France stepped up to say: Not so fast—a surprise move that exposed divisions among the United States and other Western negotiators who had long been in lockstep on the issue.

France, analysts say, was motivated by factors including its tough stand against the spread of nuclear weapons, skepticism about Tehran’s trustworthiness, and the longstanding French tradition of speaking out on the world stage. Critics faulted France for alleged grandstanding and seeking closer ties with Iran’s foes. …

After the failure of European-led talks with Iran over the nuclear program in the mid-2000s—when America gave Iran the silent treatment—Paris has staked out a hard-line stance. While President Barack Obama has recently sought a breakthrough, France has little to gain politically from an accord, and that gives Paris a freer hand to stick to strategic and security concerns. …

Paris has staked out a hard-line stance.

Got to hold the Maginot line on this.

Things get more and more upside down all the time with the Mahdi. First of all, staunch patriots here on FR, myself included, have been praising Putin as having less enmity to the US than the Mahdi. Now we’ve got to praise the Frogs for having more guts and wisdom in dealing with Iran than the Mahdi, who, day by day and hour by hour, shows evermore how totally, bitterly, and absolutely he hates America and Americans.

Likely the French understand that when Iran gets nuclear weapons they will launch an EMP attack on both Western Europe and the United States. An EMP attack will destroy the electric grid and the computing equipment on which the modern western economies are built. Once 21st Century technology is gone anarchy will reign and hundreds of millions will die. No doubt the Iranians expect the Muslims in the slums, as well as invaders from the surrounding Muslim nations unaffected by the EMP attack, will engage in a bloodbath to wipe out the weak western Europeans and clear the way for the establishment of the caliphate across Europe.

From a policy perspective, Obama’s personal goals are in alignment with the Iranian goals. John Kerry and the other members of the administration are either too naive to see the future or are complicit in the goals of their leader.

When did the French first understand that, I wonder? because France was not about that when the USA was mentioning such things.

Can’t agree more. Interestingly this may be the One’s foreign policy. He’s not going to manage the world anymore and face up to bullies for other nations that should/could do it for themselves. We’ve been the face of freedom for many years. Now the Zero sticks that face in the sand and other nations that have hidden behind our skirts have to face up.

Besides he’s too busy wrecking this country to care.

Virtually all of our high-value military is EMP-proof. They might find invasion rather difficult to accomplish, being stuck in a sheet of green glass.

French out-tough US over Iran nuclear program

That's not hard to do. A kindergarten class could out-tough this administration actions towards our enemies.

But that's the point. America's enemies are this administration's friends.

zero’s secret lifting of sanctions against Iran are all part of the “fundamental transformation of America”.

zero wants the US to fail, and if he has to arm the Iranians to do it, he will.
