Iran's Rouhani Says Uranium Enrichment a "Red Line"
Real Clear Politics/AP ^ | Nov 10, 2013 | Nassar Karimi

Posted on 11/10/2013 7:07:11 AM PST by Innovative

Iranian officials said Sunday the country made progress with world powers during "serious" talks over Tehran's nuclear program, but insisted the nation cannot be pushed to give up uranium enrichment as negotiations move into tougher ground over ways to ease Western concerns that Iran could one day develop atomic weapons.

The remarks on enrichment repeat past declarations on the country's "right" to produce nuclear fuel, which is a key element of the talks over its scope. But President Hassan Rouhani and his top envoys seek to assure hard-line critics that Iran will not make sweeping concessions in the negotiations, which ended without agreement in Geneva early Sunday and are scheduled to resume next week.

Bottom Line" Iran is standing firm, will not give up their nuclear development, but the US and the rest of the world are supposed to just do whatever Iran needs them to do.

And just why are we still "negotiating"?!

When France takes a stronger stance than the US, we should be worried...

Iran dubs France a “gun-slinging frog” over nuclear deal failure

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/middleeast/iran/10439077/Iran-dubs-France-a-gun-slinging-frog-over-nuclear-deal-failure.html

EXCERPT: “
France assumed the unfamiliar role of Iranian national villain on Sunday as senior officials and commentators in Tehran - long accustomed to spewing vitriol at Britain, America and Israel - blamed it for scuppering a deal on Iran’s nuclear programme.

A chorus of anti-French bile over the failure to reach agreement in Geneva appeared to have the endorsement of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Iran’s supreme leader, with a Twiiter account run in his name and believed to have his approval leading the charge. “

I wouldn’t trust a muslim with a sharp knife, let alone nukes. That probably sounds bad but I’m 100% done with PC.

When Russia and Israel say Iran has crossed the line, look out.

The US is irrelevant.

Funny how the press always touts the opposition line.
France is the bad guy, Republicans are the bad guys etc.

It’s never Iranian fanatics refuse deal, scupper talks...

But then I’ve just returned from four days in the deer
woods communing with god and can think clearly for a
while.

No deer, 14 year old nephew killed a hog though.

And just why are we still "negotiating"?!

We must destroy Iran before it destroys America and Israel.

Iran has announced its plan a hundred times.

What will you say after Iran does what it has told the world it plans to do? Bandage the burned; bury the dead; borrow the money to rebuild?

Foolish and cowardly to let them keep going now.

Iran was the first to call us Satan America. They are our avowed enemy. They have announced that they will nuke us.

When will Obama get the message and believe it?

The French were given their negotiating position by the Saudis. Eventually Kerry will have his Barzini moment when he realizes all along that it was Saudi Arabia who objects most to Iran’s nuclear ambitions and has been pulling the West’s strings.

Barzini moment — LOL.

Well, then O gets to either bow again or clean house. I hope he’s not President when he has to choose.

And here is more total nonsense:

Failure to reach Iran nuclear deal may fortify hardline opponents

As if the hardliners weren’t running Iran now...

You’d never see things like this if there was any American leadership (from your link):

“One Iranian posted on Facebook: ‘Let’s give the French Embassy to the Americans.’

One joke asked with dark humor: ‘How tall are the French embassy walls?’”

The French are trying to fill the vacuum Obama has created. The only people involved who are playing like it’s life or death are Netanyahu and Rouhani.

Not the American President’s type of red line, I suspect. Imagine, leaders who mean what they say, like “Death to America”.
