‘Crisis of faith’ between Israel and US over possible Iran deal
Times of Israel ^ | November 9, 2013, 1:51 am

Posted on 11/08/2013 9:40:58 PM PST by Dave346

Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is “in a state of shocked disbelief” at the deal apparently taking shape in Geneva over Iran’s nuclear program, Israeli television news reports said Friday night.

Netanyahu, the reports on Israel’s Channel 10 and Channel 2 news said, had “an unprecedented confrontation” with US Secretary of State John Kerry in Tel Aviv on Friday morning over the possible deal, which he publicly described as “a very, very bad deal” and which he implored Kerry “not to rush to sign” and to “reconsider.”

The Netanyahu government is “in a crisis of faith” with the Obama administration over the possible deal, Israel’s Channel 1 News further reported, in part because it apparently differs in content from the terms that Kerry had previously described to Netanyahu. Other Israeli reports said Netanyahu felt he had been “misled” by the US over the terms of the deal.

Netanyahu, who blasted the possible accord as the “deal of the century” for Iran, believes it would enable the Islamic Republic to become a “nuclear breakout state,” the TV reports said — since Iran would retain its nuclear enrichment capabilities, and would thus be capable of racing to a bomb at short notice at a time of its choosing.

Israel, the TV reports said, also believes the US has been negotiating with Iran in a secret channel, without disclosing the content of those discussions to Israel.

The TV reports quoted unnamed sources on the Israeli political right accusing the Obama administration of “throwing Israel under the bus,” and leaning toward an agreement with Iran that would fatally puncture the carefully constructed international sanctions regime against Iran.

The Channel 10 report said Israel’s security establishment was also “shocked” at the reported terms.

Obama to the Israelis : “I am sorry that they, you know, are finding
themselves in this situation, based on
assurances they got from me.” Works in all situations I guess. So sad.

I hate to say this, but anyone who puts their trust in Obama to protect them from anything is putting their life on the line. He is a destroyer.

Israel cannot count of him for anything and will need to decide what is in its best interests.

Plan B was and is a plan drawn up by the Israeli government years ago on how to set Iran's nuclear program back.

After the Bush National Security apparatus announced that Iran had stopped it's program, the Israelis new it was a lie. Plan B went into overdrive.

After Obama was elected the Israelis began planning for an attack on Iranian installations which has only gotten more complex and risky with the passage of time. They listened patiently to Obama never trusting him but they went with the American rouse and self-dseception.

In the last 3 years the Plan is GO.
Obama has been lying and losing ground at at ever increasing pace and the Israelis know it.

Plan B is an Israeli attack on key Iranian installations.

Yup, time to kill the petrodollar. Talk about Change! That’ll be the final knife in the US economy. Greatest Depression to follow - along with civil unrest, marshall law, suspension of elections, defaulting on sovereign debt, nuclear war, and installation of Jugears as Caeser Nero.

Israel needs to nuke the key installations of the Iranians. Then there is no doubt of their destruction. So JugEars secondarily causes a nuclear war. Sounds about right to me.

Israel will not initiate a nuclear attack. It will use other means including a massive EMP attack followed by a conventional Bunker buster attack bit it will cause a major war within which Israel will show no more mercy as she has shown since 1973.

I can see the merits of an EMP strike on Iran, and Lebanon for that matter should Hezbollah attack Israel following Israel’s strike on Iran. Would the EMP need to take down Iran’s entire grid, or could it be limited to largely military facilities? also, I’m not sure that Israel’s 5000 lb bunker buster munitions can neutralize hardened Iranian nuclear facilities. I guess the Israelis could target the entrances and exits, for a temporary facility shutdown, but this would be suboptimal.

As the next middle eastern war thus nears, the wargaming becomes very interesting.

Israel is beginning to trust Germany because they have no choice and Western countries have abandoned Israel in favor of Muslim oil-rich and aggressive Islamic/Arab countries.

I don’t think so. Obama, Jarrett (born in Iran) and the others in the US are all on the side of Iran now. Don’t forget that it is a radical leftist country, in addition to being a Muslim theocracy, and has tentacles throughout the leftist movements of Latin America, especially Cuba, Venezuela, and the newly radical leftist states such as Bolivia and Ecuador.

The Saudis are not Marxists, and in fact are very focused on preserving their monarchy and also preserving their perks as “guardians of Mecca” and titular heads of the Islamic world. I think that Obama, whose goal is to revive this fantasy caliphate Muslim radicals long for, with him as caliph and a new hard line Marxist twist to it, really thought that they would recognize his magnificence and be willing to share. But the Saudis have no intention of doing that, and now he feels he’ll get power through the Iranians.

It’s always all about Obama, all the time.

Surely Bibi expected this betrayal by Obama? Israel is in a really tight situation. I don’t think Israel can or will attack Iran alone and against the explicit opposition of the US and Europe. They must have another option, perhaps assisting the gulf Arab states to go nuclear or Saudi Arabia with all those attendant risks or something else that no one is talking about. Obama is the great destroyer and spreads chaos wherever he goes and it will not end any time soon.

There were reports this week that Saudi Arabia was purchasing nuclear weapons from Pakistan. It seems that there is nothing in this world that the Obama administration can’t muck up. And I really mean another word that rhymes with ‘muck’.

Anyone feel this leads to Netanyahu authorizing a strike? I just don’t see him doing it with such little support from the U.S.

Like many other wicked idiotic un-Godly rulers in history, Obama just won't back down from picking a fight with El Gibbor. The OT is full of examples of men like him.

The LORD keeps Israel. Blessed be the name of the LORD.

You’re probably right. Bibi can’t do it all alone without US support and Obama knows it - that’s why he’s strangling Israel...

-—intelligence-—and don’t forget airspace. If the Soddies open a corridor the ‘Raelis can get a straight shot at Bushehr without even re-fueling. And if they give them airspace they could easily give them an emergency landing strip. Throw in the PO’d French and that’s a combo that the Iranians ought to be a little humble about.
