Obama calls Netanyahu after criticism of Iran nuclear plan

U.S. President Barack Obama called Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Friday after the Israeli leader delivered a stinging rebuke to Washington over a deal taking shape in talks between Iran and world powers seeking to curb Tehran's nuclear program.

The telephone call marked an apparent bid by Obama to tamp down growing unease over the emerging Iran deal among the United States' Middle East allies, including Saudi Arabia, as well as mounting opposition to the plan on Capitol Hill.

"Any deal that breathes life back into Iran's economy in return for token and superficial moves that put Tehran no further from nuclear breakout ... appears to be a horrific strategic error," said Josh Block, chief executive officer of The Israel Project, a non-partisan, pro-Israel organization.

“Don’t think it’s beyond our moronic leader to threaten the Prime Minister of Israel for criticizing him.”

That would definitely be my guess.

A short study of his history (years at a madrasa) plus his continued acceptance of moslem regimes and his overwhelming disregard of Israel’s sovereignty should be a starting point.

I just read that Egypt is giving hints that it may seek aid from Russia. That’s an ominous sign. Even though it’s a semi-bluff on the part of Egypt it still amazes me that actually made it into the media.

Syria is going to be a pawn of Russia/Iran, therefor Lebanon will too. Now if Egypt goes? That would be a serious threat to the U.S Hegemony.

The long term implications and complications from the Obama administration are going to be world changing. Makes me momentarily think “I’m glad I’m already old”.

Obama is doing tremendous damage to the civilized world, as did Jimmy Carter, who helped the rebirth of the radical Islamic terrorist nations. Now Obama is Carter on steroids.

From wince does your knowledge that Obama is Sunni? I always thought of him shiite (shi’a). And always think of him as shiite(shi’a).

I could be mistaken, but most Indonesians are Sunni. Second, Barack Obama Sr was Sunni. Third, there’s that bowing incident before King Saud. I doubt anybody, who is Shiite, would bow before a Sunni.

Sorry. As I was typing my response, I was thinking of a little joke.

When Osama Bin Laden’s body was dumped into the sea, the fish, converted him from Sunni to Shiite.

Netanyahu will protect Israel. I bet the Israelis, surrounded by enemies, feel safer than Americans.

Reminds me of a comparison of paintings on peace. One was like a Thomas Kincaid painting, the other of a little bird on the side of a cliff protected on all sides by an overhang while a storm raged all around. Which one really represents peace. Also, the bird painting, represented the peace of a child of God, knowing that no matter what, the bird was going to be protected, or at least not worried about it.

End game for jarrett / obama / soros / saudis is a terminal confrontation between Israel and Iran.

With both of them out of the picture the sunnis / saudis roll in.

It's staring us in the face.

But he’s no different than GWB.
There is a list a mile long of all the damn whining the libs did about Bush and every damn one of them is exactly what barry is doing.

Gitmo
patriot act
bail outs
lobbyists

It’s too late, I can’t come up with the whole list.
Those code pink aholes never said a peep when he sent troops to Libya without Congress’ approval. I know all about the time limit thing that affords him the luxury of doing it, but my Lord all we hear to this day is how Bush sent our guys to Iraq w/o approval.

barry is no different than Bush in regards to the lefts complaints. He’s just a j*off who does what he’s told.

The Islamic Revolution in Iran was the fusion of Islam with Marxism.

Those nuts holding our hostages in 1979 called them “imperialists” from what sounded like a Moscow script.

And why not?

The Soviets occupied Tehran and northern Iran in the 1940’s during WW 2 to provide a supply line for British and American aid.

They planted moles in there so much that a pro-Soviet government was running the country after the war and had to be overthrown with CIA help.

Then Carter cut out on the Shah that the US put in and the crazies came to power.

I think of Obama as a Marxist and helping Iran fits that theme nicely too.

I read a fascinating article once on why liberals do things that are the exact opposite of logical. The author posits it’s because for thousands of years people did logical things and we’re still not living in utopia. Therefore doing the exact opposite of logical will lead us to utopia. Nobody, other than Jimmy Carter, ever thought to give them everything they wanted and Jimmy obviously didn’t go far enough.

On the other hand, it may be that our president is a traitor to America and western civilization and he wants a new Caliphate to rise up and turn us all into slaves. (I’m not sure where he thinks he’ll be in this new Caliphate, but he sees himself in some central role. Or, he believes it will not affect him. I suspect he lives in an imaginary world where he’s continuously accepting the Nobel prize.)

obama told him he had no idea any deal was made with Iran and that he was going to look into the problem. The first he heard about it was on the news.
