Obama grasps for climate legacy as second-term agenda crumbles

President Obama has a chance to craft a second-term legacy on climate change even as the rest of his agenda runs aground in Congress.

Gun control legislation is dead; immigration reform is on life support; and reaching a fiscal deal with Republicans appears to be a long shot.

Seems to me that he’s throwing everything out there to save his legacy. Climate, Immigration, gay rights, minimum wage, infrastructure...

With the fascist takeover of healthcare underway, other horizons await this Hitleresque regime, and climate legislation opens the door to taking over energy production, exploration and distribution. And just like the mandates of Obamacare are paid for by by narrowing down the market, raising the prices, and forcing people to buy it, we will be forced to accept a narrow market of energy at extreme prices, and we will be forced to pay for it. The American economy is too big and complicated for central control, so the government will become the controlling partner of every critical business through legislation and mandates, and agencies will become the police that force us to comply. Healthcare, energy, banking (which is damn near there), transportation and manufacturing will line up like dominoes for the federal government to takeover. Welcome to Nazi America.
