Your comment assumes that the leadership of the AFL-CIO gives a rat’s ass what happens to their membership. Amnesty = Permanent Democrat Rule = a lifetime of assured wealth and perks for the AFL-CIO leadership.
Does the GOP leadership care about its constituents? Why would union leadership be any different?
The AFL-CIO is hoping to unionize all the illegals that would become citizens. They also realize that the new citizens would vote primarily Democrat, and the ones that do not join unions will become dependent on foodstamps, AFDC, Section 8, and Medicaid.
