Cruz to Obama: Don’t Peddle Obamacare in Texas
National Review Online ^ | November 6, 2013 3:44 PM | Andrew Johnson

Posted on 11/07/2013 7:38:44 AM PST by SoConPubbie

Texas doesn’t want to hear anymore of President Obama’s “false promises” about the Affordable Care Act, according to Senator Ted Cruz. He’s urged the president to drop his plans to visit Dallas on Wednesday to deliver a speech on Obamacare.

“President Obama should take his broken promises tour elsewhere so Texans can continue focusing on the solutions that have allowed our state to become and remain the nation’s economic and job creation powerhouse,” Cruz said in a statement. He went on to list a series of unfulfilled promises the president has made, all related to health care.

Emphasizing that the law has “no place in Texas,” Cruz called for a full repeal of the ACA, saying only that would ”empower Americans and their families” to find more effective health-care options.

There won’t be another serious challenge as long as there’s plenty of sports! sports! sports! to keep common minds operating at a grade-school level.

**
Thank you for saying this!! Get so tired of seeing MASSES of stadiums full, every single freaking weekend, all throughout the year ...football, baseball, hockey, soccer ...one series, one Stanley Cup, one bowl game to the next ... Most Americans, particularly most MALE Americans are simply mesmerized by sports. It is to the worship level, and has been for the past 40-50 years. I personally feel this has a lot to do with the sorry state of affairs our country is in. Ask a single one to put down their beer and pick up a gun and they’d look at you like you had two heads.

Sorry guys. Had to rant. You can retaliate my reminding me however it is women are mesmerized, and that is fine....but this is my rant.

Sports for adults serves the same function as mobiles do for infants.

Sports diverts their attention with noise, movement, and color...and sluts, in the case of football and basketball.

As a method of social control, the use of sports as diversion goes back thousands of years.

It’s a proof of one of Warchild’s Rules ‘o’ History: things don’t change because people haven’t fundamentally changed, either.

What a GREAT number of very powerful statements by Sen Ted Cruz! I bet the steam was just pouring out of 0dumb0shit's big ears... and still the commie pig muzzlim traitor 0dumb0shit is unable to hear the truth!!!

Classic lines......

"Texas doesn’t want to hear anymore of President Obama’s “false promises”

“President Obama should take his broken promises tour elsewhere"

"Emphasizing that the law has “no place in Texas,” Cruz called for a full repeal of the ACA"

We FReepers need to figure out a way to go hang with Cruz for a while. It’d do us a world of good.

That's the wisest statement I've seen on this website in ages.

Well, there are at least a couple others, but Cruz is the only one I see with a FULL set.

Note that O'dumbass issued his 'apology' for misleading the public on Obamacare tonight.

I don't think there's any coincidence in the timing. He's rarely had anyone in his life take it to him as bold and as straight as Ted Cruz did yesterday. I honestly believe that Ted rattled him.

I didn’t hear his speech or his “apology”, but in listening to Megan Kelly tonight, she said it was a “weak apology”, kind of like “I’m sorry IF your sub-par plans were taken away.” What a F____N’ RAT bastard commie muzlim pig 0dumb0 is. Gives a weak non-apology and then expects the whole thing to blow over. I look foward to seeing this pathological liar & demonic evil person (and his phat ass wife) roast for eternity in Hell!

Instead of acting like a junk yard dog, Obama may want to reread pages 34,552 and 34,553 of the June 17, 2010 Federal Register. Obama and Sillybus really screwed the middle class. Tens of millions will lose their employer based insurance. Well done LIAR!

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3088618/posts

Under this assumption, the Departments’ mid-range estimate is that 66 percent of small employer plans and 45 percent of large employer plans will relinquish their grandfather status by the end of 2013. The low-end estimates are for 49 percent and 34 percent of small and large employer plans, respectively, to have relinquished grandfather status, and the high-end estimates are 80 percent and 64 percent, respectively.

Remember, Greta is NOT a conservative. She has O’Reilly-itis.....finding a truffle once in a while like a blind pig......but unthinkingly exposing her inate liberal statism to those alert and educated enough to winnow it out of her incessant chirping....and grotesquely elongated questions.

***

I agree.

Another telling habit of hers is that she never misses an opportunity to take a shot at oil companies, especially Exxon.
