Saudis have purchased nuclear weapons from Pakistan
Honestreporting ^ | 11/7/13

The Saudis bought nuclear weapons from Pakistan, according to the BBC. They’re even ready for delivery:

One senior Pakistani, speaking on background terms, confirmed the broad nature of the deal – probably unwritten – his country had reached with the kingdom and asked rhetorically “what did we think the Saudis were giving us all that money for? It wasn’t charity.”

Another, a one-time intelligence officer from the same country, said he believed “the Pakistanis certainly maintain a certain number of warheads on the basis that if the Saudis were to ask for them at any given time they would immediately be transferred.”

Have the Saudi’s ever directly or indirectly indicated they want to ‘wipe Israel off the map’?

You of all people should know that the Saudis keep their friends close and their enemies even closer.

“To do what? Ideas folks?”

To counter Iran. The Kingdom has been scared sh!tless of a nuclear Iran for a while now and it appears they’ve given up hope that the West will take care of the issue. The Saudis and the Israelis are oddly aligned on this matter.

At least Ethel and Julius Rosenberg had some justice doled out.

A fair amount got off light or even away with their treason.

The Saudis don’t feel like they can rely on the US for protection anymore.

That is the big story here. No confidence that the U.S. will do anything to stop Iran from developing and then deploying nuclear weapons. The Saudis no longer trust the current administration. Barry's complete scrambling and the undoing of middle east relations on display. What a mess he's created of things.

“What does everyone else do with nuclear weapons ?”

They have, to this point, been expensive phallic symbols. But Saudi Arabia will use them in a Middle Eastern version of MAD, mutual assured destruction. This is doubtless why they’re negotiating with Germany for submarines, to ensure a second strike capability. They, of all people, must realize that Iran will not be deterred. Any losses are acceptable if they achieve their aim of today, whatever that is. Also, Saudi Arabia, by allowing their plans to leak has assured themselves a first strike as soon as Iran is ready to make it. America, at least America under Obama won’t even figure in the equation. We’ve probably already drafted an official letter to deplore the blood vaporization. I assure you forcing Obamacare on the US is hundreds of times more important to Obama than nuclear war in the Middle East.

They don't view us or Israel as their mercs anymore.

Or they are targeting interests that are not the same as ours.

Honestly, I suspect they are worried about Iran.

Maybe NOW all those dolts in the Obama administration can understand why preventing nuclear weapons in Iran was so important. (Paging Hillary Clinton). At least they pushed to help LGBT refugees.

Iran insurance.

Yep. Oddly, Tehran just happens to be within the F-15's unclassified combat radius from Riyadh. Even more oddly, we sold the Saudis some F-15s in 2011. It's only a coincidence, I'm sure.

I agree that the Saudi’s getting nukes poses more a threat to other middle east countries than it does to the US or Europe. We often talk about the spread of muslims into the west, but we forget that the majority of death happening from radical Islam is muslim against muslim. In the same way Europe fought Europe in two wars, the only thing stopping a version of it in the middle east has been US intervention. Now that our government has turned into pansies, the middle east is taking measures into their own hands. When they strike, it will be against another muslim country.

I am always torn on the idea of never wishing demise on anyone, but there is a part of me that wants to say stop interfering and let them kill each other already.
